This makes me very happy. I just planted a section in my yard for wildflowers for the bees. I can’t wait to see what native bees I bring this year. This is why most think my backyard is messy but to me it’s a home for so many. ❤

Bravo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is so wonderful to see and hear. You are demonstrating when we will all need to do, and soon. I started Beekeeping this last year and have fallen in love with learning about them and planting flowers. For Christmas Presents this year, I purchase Native Bee Houses and flower seeds for all my friends. Thanks again.

Slowly as I have added native plants and trees my yard has come alive with pollinators. This year I noticed these beautiful metallic mason bees along my redbuds. So I learned more about them and decided to put up my first beehouse😊

Oh yes, forgot, so important. Stocking limits should be put into place. Some beekeepers simply don't know when to stop, unaware of the issue they are creating. Let us all become aware.

What did she mean by “agricultural exemption” and “wildlife exemption”? Exemption from what? County or State laws on grass and rank vegetation?

I found the answer- it’s a tax exemption for property taxes based on land use.
