    Should do the same but using photoshop generative fill. I've used it a lot for various rock climbing related image processing, and some of the results can be wild. Pop a photo of your wall in and start generative filling some climbing holds, then recreate it to scale =P

    Folks may have already said it. This might be considerably better if you use GPT4-vision model. It takes images as input and provides images as output. Can ask it to do slight adjustments to make it harder or easier or more comp style. I think the most interesting part would be to ask for creative betas - that’s the real test I think. Can it think like a climber? Furthermore, ask it to modify the beta if one has specific strengths. Eg. Fingers, flexibility, upper body and others.

    What has been done and I suspect can use a lot of improvement is generative methods in board setting, simply because you can actually train a model with somewhat of a good amount of data

  • @jacobholmes1342
    @jacobholmes1342 11 месяцев назад +23

    I wonder if it'd help to have AI generate problems on a training board, assuming you can feed it the exact position / type of every hold

    • @simonkok3440
      @simonkok3440 11 месяцев назад +2

      You could probably train an AI using the exiting kilter board problems to generate new problems with a given grade and/or style.

    • @nathanrice7352
      @nathanrice7352 11 месяцев назад

      Boulderbot already has a simplistic version of that. You specify how good the hold is, how hard/long/reachy you want the problem to be, and it will spit out routes.

    Considering that you could think of routsetting as a language. Where the sentensens the cruxes and their meaning is their grade and style, the parts of the sentenses are different combinations of moves. Then the LLM's ability to randomly pick parts giving about the same meaning to the sentense should be a good think. Intiutively it feels like this could be something the current AI's could become good at, given enough specific training

    Also some food for thought:
    the quality of AI responses is very prompt dependent (due to the fact how most of the AI language models currently work).
