To be honest this is one of the best built incubator iv seen so far very impressive work man the only thing I did not like was the basket I would put something under it so all the eggs and dropping won’t fall on the bulb and fans as well as the bottom of the incubator
I'm currently working on my Fridge Incubator. I'm not keen on using bulbs for the heat since they tend to retain more heat after reaching running temp. Controller cuts off at 37.5 and the heat continues to rise. I'm using a PTC heater same as a normal incubator but still having an issue with regulating the heat. I'm currently running the SCT-3028 controller which has the DHT11 sensor so now upgrading it to the DHT22 sensor. Thinking about investing in an Arduino to properly calibrate the sensor. I will also be buying a 12v Trigger / Relay / Timer for the egg turner. Wish I could attach a picture here haha
@@junkyardgoodies3994 I'm not using bulbs mate ;) I'm using a 290 degree Celsius PTC heat element. Maybe 290 degrees is too much haha. I might buy a few different elements such as a 170 degree and an 80 degree, then do some more testing. I'm thinking about adding a couple of heatsinks under the heating plate that the element is attached to. There is a lot of heat being transferred through the aluminum frame that I have the heat element attached to, so heatsinks may help to restrict the heat being transferred through the aluminium framing as much....... just different ideas ;) ;)
@@DriftKingToBe wow! You have a impressive set-up mate. PTC heating element is way better than bulbs and more efficient. Thanks for sharing your ideas!

Sorry for that part,it happened that the video containing the egg tray turning doesn't support my video editing app. There's a 220v motor at the top of the setter trays that turns every 2 hours or you can set it according to your choice, you can set it on the timer.
I learned a lot from this video. I built my own but it can't hatch Chicken eggs. I can only hatch Guinea fowl eggs. The chicken eggs won't even show that they are fertile after candling. Any help
Ok yung recycled egg incubator mo, ayos alam mo paano. Pero sa itlog bago isalang di ba may limit din sa araw kung ilang days na yan. Kasi kahit mamahalin yung incubator mo at isalang mo more than 2 weeks na konti lang mapipisa.

this had me so excited for you! I want to do this for my quail eggs.

We have the same issue bro! You can fix it by using lower wattage incandescent bulb.i change mine from 40 watts down to 25 watts and it works well.

Just use a pid regulator and sensirion T&H sensor with an arduino. if you tune it correctly it will work.
This is really helpful! Thank you!
You're welcome!

What's the tray to tray distance?
Does fans blows downward or upward?

How did you put the observation glass at the door?
@@erickowaga5473 I use a aluminum angle bar to cover the glass.glass size is 10/80 centimeters.i use a jig saw to cut the door.
I tried that but even the falling still hurts them.
Where do you put the rotator
The motor is at the center connected to the lowest setter tray holder, it's a chain drive and it rotates every 2 hours
Love the idea of using a used fridge, I didn’t get how you made the egg turn rotate side to side though?
