With only $15 and a whole lot of hope, we created a homemade incubator capable of hatching up to 50 eggs. It achieved an astonishing 27 out of 30 hatches. Thank you for watching!

Great video hope it gets more recognition, also is the cardboard safe enough ? Especially with hay later on ?

Thanks so much for watching and for your comments! 🤩
Great question about the cardboard! We didn’t put hay into it during the incubation, only later on, for a week, when it was changed to be a brooder (we finally used wood chips though).
We put the incubator right next to our desk all the time so we can look tend to it whenever needed. So far we think it’s safe and quick and cheap. But if you happen to have other materials (plastic box, etc.), that would be even better for the incubator of course!
Thanks again and have a great day!
