That looks like a Centos pre 2010?? maybe. In the Lampre team colors (hence the sponsor decals on the seat stays. 2013 Wilier introduced the zero (dot) seven which was a lighter (0.7 kg) frameset and Lampre rode black and yellow versions for a few years (iirc). I have the black and red Super Record from 2013(an absolutely fantastic bike) and crazy lightweight, mine w/o pedals and computer is 14.75# which is great for those of us who don’t generate a lot of watts 😊. The last couple of years at the TdF Wilier has had some of the best looking bikes. If I had the coin I’d pony up for the 2024 Cavendish paint scheme with SR😊. They still or fairly recently made a steel retro frame (superleggera. That’s all I know, I was fascinated to learn that Wilier is an acronym!😊
The frame was advertised as 2009 when I bought it off eBay. The closest thing I could find to it online was the Wilier Lampre 2010 rollout video which had an integrated seatpost. This one is just labeled “Cento” without any numbers. Sloping downtube, compact feel, climbs really well.
That's my bike!! 2009 Wilier Team Lampre frameset from Ebay. The Guy did an excellent job doing the build and the finished product rides like a dream. Old school, light and lively race bike! I randomly had a white Scott saddle in my parts bin, so since the frame was half white, I made the bold fashion choice to do the white bar tape; mostly just to make it extra cheesy. Total Frankenbuild, it's everything I want, and nothing I don't. Thanks Justin!!
Looking nice. I personally would avoid Armor All on the tires in case it gets wet and gets on the rim's braking surface. Would have been great to see a new clear chainstay protector. Love seeing the older bikes out there 🚴♂️
I use rubbing alcohol as the finishing touch on the brake surface. The Armer All does rub off during the test ride, but you're right: Proper cleaning of those surfaces is needed for performance and safety.
The slope top tube was kind of a new thing back in the early 2000s wasn't it? Trek kind of held on to the flat top tube for quite a while but it seems like now all the bikes got a sloped top tube, gives your handlebars a higher more comfortable position. Update on the helmet debate, on the police scanner a few days ago someone had a crash on a bike at a local County run park. The dispatcher reported there was a head injury, and the bicycle rider was not wearing a helmet.
That is when they all started to go to a compact design. I'll talk to John more about this industry change. He worked at Schwinn at the time and was one of those leaders in this change. WEAR A HELMET, PEOPLE!

Thanks for giving me the pleasure of working on it. It was a blast geeking out on this one. I'm glad the build is holding up. Enjoy the Ride!
Sweet ride.
White bar tape looks awesome coming out of the shop….
I love my 2016 Wilier GTR Team. I've put about 21,000 miles on it so far.
Nice!
Wow fantastic job dude the customer must be so pleased excellent work buddy 😊 ❤ Pete 🚴🏻👍
He is enjoying his ride. He even left a comment as well. Thanks for watching!
Nice refurb! I also like the white bar tape. Mixing white and black (or blue) on the brake & shifter cables would have also looked nice.
Beautiful bike. I didn't know about that brand. Thanks.
I've seen them, and happy to get to work on one. They are awesome!

Wow! The ponytail and beard came back quickly. 😮
That’s my evil twin!
Great video Guy👍👍👍. Do I spot a beautiful Coppi and an old school Univega framesets in the workshop?? They look awesome👌
Thanks! Yep, they have been detailed and are ready to find a new home. By the way, I love your content; it's very edgy.

I think it is pronounced Vee-Lee-air, not wheeler.
Wheeler? 😅😅😅
