Really neat to see them from the air. I flew over some 2 Sundays ago, for the first time. Lots of first for me since I’m new to PPG. Every flight is an adventure. Loving every minute of it!!!
Hi Scott. Do you think you will be going up Wednesday evening (the 6th)? The winds are looking pretty nice for tomorrow evening. I can foot launch from Shelbyville Municipal Airport. Any flying I do between Mondays-Thursdays will be done from Shelbyville, since I work there and have very little time to get into the air before sunset. I can go 30 minutes after sunset though because I have strobes, so that helps. Let me know, Scott. I look forward to meeting up with you and doing some leisurely flying together. Have a blessed rest of your day. 🙏🪂😉👍
If the winds are good, then I'll probably give it a shot. I usually don't know until last minute since forecasts are just that. I've had instances of good wind forecasts that end up being completely wrong.
@@ScottRichardson_PPC What time do you try to get out there? I brought my paramotor and gear with me today with the hopes to go up. Better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it! 😄
@@ScottRichardson_PPC Ya, I hear you. I'm looking at my Windy app and it looks like winds are picking up a little. I've looked at the various models and some are high, some lower. It's hard to know which is right, wrong, or close. I'm pretty new at this and it's kind of a pain when it's marginal out. Looks like sunset is 5:35. What time would you want to get to the airport? If it's too windy and it's a no-go, no problem. At least we can meet.
I enjoy seeing the combines from the air! 😃👊

It never gets old, there's always something new to see for sure.
Your content is much better than Tucker gotts .... please keep it up my friend
I sure envy how you can steer with your feet, freeing up your hands.
Foot steering is definitely the way to go.
Can you smell the dust from up there?
Absolutely, it also hurts my eyes when flying through it.

@@todd.foster77 Not sure if I'm gonna fly, but can still meet you out there. Message me here when you are leaving work.
