Sorry for your loss. Glad to have you back my friend.
You and I traveled a similar path; I loved my Grandmother and helped care for her when she got cancer 30 years ago this year. Not gonna make this a long post but just know that I get it, and it took me down like it did you. Never apologize. You will never regret caring for him like that and though it hurts so bad, getting to help them when they are sick is some comfort. Wishing you comfort and strength when the grief waves come, and we never know when they will hit. Glad to see you moving back into video making, having a creative outlet helps. And this was a wonderful tribute to share your story, it does help and will help others. Be well, man.
I'm so sorry to hear what happened to you and your family, so sorry for your loss.
I too lost a relative to cancer and a couple to chronic-degenerative illnesses and moreover, being a medic, I too know what it feels like... no amount of mental preparation is ever going to be enough, nobody's ever ready for it. It's an experience that completely wreaks havoc in one's life.
I'm glad to see you're back on track. Keep strong 💪🏻
Sorry for your loss, I lost my dad a while back. It's not easy watching them get sick. Going through this with my mom now. This brought my to tears friend, you are a hero to your dad, and we are all here for you. Bless you, and your family. I hope you all are well, it's hard to deal with this kind of stuff regardless of age. You did good by your dad, you were with him when it mattered and you sound like you were truly close.
I'm so sorry for your loss. Watching someone you love suffer is truly an awful thing to experience. It sounds like you really did well by your dad, I'm sure he was proud of you and that he really appreciated what you did for him. Take care of yourself, stay well.
I'm so sorry. My dad is aging and I try my best to not take any moment for granted. I'm proud to say he's a man similar to how you described your father, and I agree we need more guys like them in the world.
Thank you for opening up to us, and thank you for the content warning. I'm glad to have you back, but don't push yourself too hard.
Just thank you for such an honest account.
I've also been trying to prepare for my dad's passing my whole adult life with an ever present feeling that I'll never be ready.
He's still there but definitely in those years where anything can happen.
I like to face things with eyes wide open so painful as it is I am grateful for the reminder of just how brutal life can be.
Sorry for your loss. I had the same problems as my mother died. I'm glad that you're back and look forward to see your upcoming videos ❤
Sorry for your loss. Welcome back, and take care of yourself and your family.
Boy, am I glad you're back! I just lost my dad a few months ago and I know the pain of loss and sadly the frustration of dealing with the bureaucracy that follows a loved one's death. Just know that while you were away, I learned so much about 3D printing by watching your older videos.
Sorry for your loss & Welcome back. I lost my wife in 2013 from ovarian cancer. It's tough, I've learned that the grief never goes away. You just learn to cope with it better over the course of time. Lean into your hobbies and things that bring you peace and joy. For me it was family, music, D&D and 3D printing... whatever I could find to occupy my mind. Best wishes...
Fantastic news to see that you're back! I'm saddened by your loss and what you had to go through, I couldn't imagine how difficult that must have been. I think I'll have to give my dad an extra big hug next time I see him.
Greg I'm so sorry, my wife just went through this 2 years ago. Her Mom had cancer, and she cared for her for nine months, lost her job over it. It wrecked her emotionally, she still hasn't gone back to work, I don't know if she'll ever be the same again. I feel your pain, because I've seen how it affects people first hand. I'm glad your back though, hopefully focusing on 3d printing again will take your mind off of it. You were missed!
Survivor of cancer and the treatment, have dealt with losing my mother to cancer (which is still a serious heartache years later for reasons). I understand were you are at. I don't know your personal place or pain, but I know that pain. Keep putting one step forward at a time.
My dad passed away from a heart attack on May 10, 2020 (Worst Mother's day ever, IMO and I'm not even a mom).
It would have been fine if you never returned to teaching after the life-changing experience of losing a parent.... but welcome back to teaching and sharing your experience with us now that you've found your way to the other side of the deep well of grief that such a loss imposes on us.
So thank you for continuing to share, that was a choice that you had to make, and IMO it speaks to your values/character.
Welcome back!
I lost my family to cancer when I was very young. So I know where you are coming from but from a slightly different perspective. You are not alone. My condolences.
Sorry for your loss. We lost my wife sister to colon cancer the day after Christmas. It is not easy process to live through. Stay well.
Sorry for your loss. My sister passed away at age 55 from a brain tumor and it's a hard thing for any family to go through.
Hi and welcome back.
Very sorry to hear of your loss. I lost my Mum too to the same thing and nothing can prepare you for the gut wrench pain felt by surviving them.
It's not easy for us guys to open up about depression etc and for anyone else going through the same thing that's reading this, I can't stress enough how important it is to talk to someone, believe it or not, I found that talking to someone not in my inner circle like my wife or friends was far more beneficial to me because I could speak freely without having to worry about people treating me differently.
It's a long a painful road back to being normal once you have lost someone that close, but don't suffer in silence - seeking help is not a weakness, it's a strong positive action to heal yourself.
Glad to have you back doing what you enjoy and look forward to all the great content 👍
I lost my dad to Alzheimers. It was a long strung out process. About 20 years. At first it was just some slight tremors and over those 20 years it kept getting worse and at the end, he was in a nursing home and he could not move or talk anymore. You could look him in the eyes and you could tell he knew who you were, but he could not communicate. I took my mom in to see him and we were visiting and mom told him if he was hanging on because he was worried about her, not to worry and that she would be all right. He passed away 2 days later. That was hard. So, just keep him in your heart and remember everything he meant to you.
Condolences to you.
I went though the same thing with my mother. She held on for 2 years after she was diagnosed and I took care of her everyday.
All I can say is remember him and after some time the tears will turn to smiles as thoughts of mourning & loss will turn to joy in cerebration of his time/life spent with you.
Hang in there and welcome back.
lots of love. you are very strong and thanks for sharing. great to see you back.
Really sorry to hear this. Condolences for your loss.
Welcome back, and my condolences. I lost my mother to dementia, so she was gone well before her body was, so I understand a lot of what you went through with regards to your father losing his memories and himself. Unfortunately the pain never goes away, you just get used to living with it. Sounds like you have tons of positive memories to rely on. Thats a very good thing.
Love your videos, sorry for your loss. Hope you keep finding ways to cope with your loss and continue on with a beautiful life.
Good to have you back .. God bless you and your family. Hang in there
glad to see you back! sorry for your loss. take it easy mate!
Sorry for the loss and so happy you are back!
Glad to see you back! Your videos have been a huge help when I got into this hobby last August. Take all the time you and I'm looking forward to your future content.
My dad just went through cancer and it was in his neck. We think it's gone but still trying to spend all the time I can with him since we live in different states.
So sorry for your loss, stay blessed and positive.
Nothing but love for ya'. Glad to see you back!
I completely understand, I am going through it with my dad right now. Glad you are back.
I want to say thank you for sharing with us and opening up about your experience with your father. I'm sorry for your loss, but I am grateful and glad to hear that he lived a long life and experienced a great closeness with his son. That is a very beautiful thing in itself. I am currently experiencing this with my mother who has metastatic cancer. She will pass away soon and she is in pain everyday. A very conflicting experience of wanting to hold on but wanting them to be able to let go.
Again, thank you for sharing your story. I wish you and your family all the best.
ps. Your channel rocks! Thank you for taking the time to do what you do! :)

Im sorry for your loss and I think everyone can understand that you needed the time for you and your family ! wish you both all the best and looking forward to your new content!❤
Sorry for your loss. I know exactly what you are going through. I lost my mother 2 cancer 2 years ago and I was caring for my Dad since then. He passed away last month. I had the same feelings also being unable to make models or 3D print anything or even have interest in any of my other hobbies. Only starting to feel like doing anything now. So I guess these feelings are normal and over time will fade and things will slowly get back to normal. Hang in there.
Sorry for your loss. I went through the same with my Dad, such a hard journey. I wasn't able to watch your video without tears of my own. Thanks for sharing the story and welcome back.
My deepest sympathies, sorry for your loss. I'm happy to see you back in the saddle though, stay strong !!

I lost my cousin last year to brain cancer. Diagnosed in May and he was gone in October. So sorry for your loss. F cancer!

Man I am sorry for your loss, watching someone go true this before I've seen the pain it causes, my condolecense, and may he be in gods graces. Glad to see you're back.
I wish you nothing but the best. My mom was the same way but you will get better.
I cared for my mother with cancer and watched her die as well, I was only 22, my father followed 6 months later with a stroke, life's rough sometimes, hard to keep moving, keep doing things you love, condolences, keep doing your best to move forward. That's all there is.
So sorry for your loss, my sincerest condolences. Welcome back
Thanks for coming back, really sorry for your loss , I am sure your dad was a great man and you are too. We missed you a lot, do this in a relaxed way and slowly you will get better and better. Thanks for sharing your experience, god bless you.
I am so sorry for you and your family's loss. Praying that God helps you all thru this and help heal.
Went through the same with my dad in 2016 and I wouldn't wish that on anybody, so my heart goes out to you and good to see you back
Thanks for coming back. We value your content.
So glad to have you back. Really sorry for your loss. I had to watch two grandparents degrade and die in front of me. Its tough but they want you to be strong and keep on keeping on.
Thank you for sharing. Take time for your loss. You will be welcomed back at any time.
So sorry for your loss, I lost mum early this year in March so know exactly what have been through.
Can't say it's easy but you learn how to cope
Sorry for your Loss, my condolences.
Sorry for your loss, mate. But it's great to have you back! Keep your head high, care for yourself and your loved ones and much love from Germany!
I lost my dad suddenly about 6 years ago. He was only 65 and passed with no warning at all. I don't know if that is better or worse than your experience, but I still know how you feel. So sorry for your lose. Glad to see your getting better and look forward to seeing more of your videos.
Sorry to hear that! I’m sure your Dad was very grateful to have you close to him at that time although some of the challenges can sometimes make it easy to lose sight of that. A loss like that takes many years to process, but it gets better!
Sorry for your loss. Completely understandable. Family 1st! Glad that you are back.
My condolences. Good to see you back again. Had been wondering why you're channel had been silent for a while.
So sorry to hear about your Dad. We lost our mum 18 months ago to cancer and it's one of the worst things you can go through. I'm sure it was a great comfortable to him to be surrounded by his clearly loving family during his illness. Best wishes from the UK.❤
Glad you took time to recharge and find some peace before returning.
Best of luck!
Sorry for your loss bro! I missed saying good bye to my Dad by a few hours. He passed from Cancer too.
Glad you're back, I've missed your reviews. And my dad passed away last Sunday, I understand some of what you're going through, it feels like I'm just walking around in a fog, but it's getting better every day. Thank you for sharing, it helps to hear what someone else is going through, and that they feel the same kind of way.
Hey Greg! My most sincere condolences for your loss. I also lost my dad to cancer several years ago so I'm with you in how you feel. Glad to see you're back and look forward to more of your videos. Take care of yourself and know the community loves you!
Sorry Greg and family, I feel you. I lost my dad 11 years ago now to ALS, and I still can't talk about it.
I am a big fan of your channel. It has really helped me with my hobby of resin 3-D printing, I’m really happy to hear that you’re back, but sharing your personal journey about your father’s passing, I believe has made a permanent impact on my life thank you.
Brother, We are so sorry for your loss. We are going through it too atm. we have 2 grandma's currently in hospice care and my mother is in real bad shape waiting on a liver (she never drank...sad huh) We will be praying for you and yours!
