It would be amazing if you developed a kit like the hutches welding beam kit for these trucks including dentsides. Those guys sell them for $6000! Way too much..
I’m in with keeping the camper top. Not only keeping, updating! That would be awesome, update all the electrical and lighting, keep the vintage look. Fresh wiring will make it worry proof.
And Craig, my mom drives a '69 GMC single cab extended step side bed pickup... With NO POWER STEERING from the factory. She's 88, by the way... We did put an add on ac unit on it back in the day... And headers. She ROCKS.
Leave the canopy/camper shell in place... It provides better aerodynamics, in that it extends the rear part of the roof to the rear of the truck. So, theoretically, the gas mileage won't be as bad as it would be with the open bed. Everything else looks good. I would, however, find a replacement door handle for the rear passenger door. Might as well make it complete and prevent rainwater from getting inside the door, next time an atmospheric river (what used to be called the pineapple express, btw) hits.
I’ve got a bullnose 4wd single cab shortbed 4spd 302 truck that’s going to be my wheeler. Get those arms out so I can buy a set for it already. I wanna show my buddy’s what a TTB truck can do. They’re all in solid axle rigs . Trying to keep mine simple and cheap and show them that it can hang with their yotas. 😊
I always enjoy your content, but just wanted to give gave a shout out on the big improvement to the cinematography and editing in this video! Good job man!
3:45 the good thing about taller tires is they reduce the rear gearing so it helps with gas mileage and gives you a higher top speed. you have 4.56:1 rear gearing but with the 37's on there it probally went down to a 3.73 or 4.11 vs with the stock size tire.
There’s something weirdly creepy about this truck. The patina, the ugly brown color and those hideous yellow headlights, and the ugly tint. I mean this truck is cool but this one looks like a jeepers creepers truck or something. It’s unsettling
The truck is long long. The sleeper cap makes it look so much better than when you first got it. It was meant to be on that truck! Truly, what other factory truck would it fit on?
Brother I have a Set of Ford camper overload springs that bolt over top of your current leaf stack for when you tow all you would need is the ubolts to bolt them to your current stack

@@John3_16QAutofab makes kits as well and they are better priced than Hutches but still pricey. I definitely agree with coming out with a new kit

" No brain South Carolina things*. Can't stop LMFAO 😆😆😆

Leave the camper on dude it looks amazing I like it

Thank goodness for the video tonight. Just what I needed to relax after a long day
Add a rear sway bar next ! 😎🏴☠️
"The ice cream man is here.......YEASSSS" that got me dying
That'd be a SOUTH Carolina thing , we don't claim garbage. Beautiful truck , well executed lift kit.
I think you should take the camper off for the summer

Camper off would look so clean!
Just bought a few stickers for the toolbox! Small block killer included!
You are making me crazy with that faded purple tint!!!
I don’t care if you run the topper or not but PLEASE!!!! Fix the body dents rust and paint and get the bed body lines match!!!!!🙏🏻
@TheCraig909 any recommendations for which pitman arm to buy/
I’m building a 72 f250. Does anybody know what kinda of backspacing I can have on my wheels?
the important question is, *DID YOU MANAGE TO GET THE ICE CREAM MAN?*
4.88 gears ratio would be better for her with them 37 even 5.13 gear ratio🤘🇺🇲🍻
My 2001 Santa Cruz mountain bike has the blue label Fox as its rear shock. It’s original too.

That’s a lot of work to save money on shocks I’d imagine ranchos or skyjacker shocks would have been 100$
LEAVE THE CAMPER…
I want one of those for my truck
Looks killer Keep the topper. Although I’m curious what prerunner fenders would look like
The truck is long long. The sleeper cap makes it look so much better than when you first got it. It was meant to be on that truck! Truly, what other factory truck would it fit on?
The campers cool but it’s too tall and the rear looks weird with the doors.
That truck is awesome! So glad you didn’t leave it squatted like that!
Brother I have a Set of Ford camper overload springs that bolt over top of your current leaf stack for when you tow all you would need is the ubolts to bolt them to your current stack
How bout a T-shirt saying " As long as I have a cookie duster you have a place to sit"
Seeing u build this truck from when you first pulled it out and cleaned it up has been super awesome
Tbh I think it looks better with the camper without isn't bad at all but I feel like it would be missing somthing
Man this is the first time ive sat n watched one of your vids in a while and man gotta say youre giving me ideas for my 77 2wd f150
Take it off one time for photos.
It’s the best dam looking tow rig on the tube and I own z71s if that matters
Yea there’s no way you should take that camper shell off . That thing almost makes the rig what it is.
It does bother be a little that the body line of the bed and cab don’t line up though, I don’t know if there’s any way that can be fixed.
fender go brawwwwwwwwwww
Dent out that rear pax door and plan on painting this thing.Matt black hood top with two tone color scheme will look rad. 5.0 to boot
That camper is killer . Period correct for the truck . So ugly its cool.
Keep the camper... maybe add a retro stripe kit for an old school look?
Keep the camper. Looks sick and is useful.
Dog I changed my brakes n spent over 1k
Carolina squat ruined a whole state. Congrats guys
Hold on I want to piss off Craig what is the Galaxy at😂😂😂
lol. that steering column is soooo not acceptible. 😂 cool project. 🤙
If you keep the camper top you should paint match it to the truck!
ask garrett about shocks, also nice to see you at the wedding;
Maybe 2 inch add a leaves in the rear . It looks a little low in the rear
Hey Craig are you going to 4x4 conversion in the future
What brand camper shell/topper is on it?
Keep the camper and put some maroon pinstripe on it to match the truck.
You should get a bendpak 2 post lift
Pull the camper just so we can see what it's like
I'd keep the topper best to keep luggage dry.
Need to fix that rear door. It just kills the looks
100% camper top and maybe a visor too
When are you going to build the motor in it
The camper shell looks great
Decreased the resale value of it
Leave the camper show on
Just put an order in on the website! Love the Bumpside content🍻
Thank you!
I love the camper, it fits the truck so well.
Vid sped up? Take mad fast
Camper has got to stay
Take the camper off
great stuff thanks
Man it's huge......
I’m guilty of it as well driving random rigs, but heel toeing that vessel in cruising traffic is hilarious lol
Great job love it
Take camper off
Lake Dixon!?
Keep camper on
Looks Awesome!
Camper off!
Looking good!
🤟🤟
🤘🏼
Man, so stoked with how far this thing has come since Ford Fest.
Toby!
Right on, that rig looks a lot better. also I think it would be cool to see it without the camper on it
Maybe if the topper patina matched the truck it would be way better
You deserve more attention, great channel!
One hour ago is crazy
What offset are those wheels
Excellent vid
Camper is sick bro, gotta keep it on there!
Genius. There was one of your trucks driving around next to THE KURSAAL Southend on sea . They are huge compared to anything else on uk roads .🫶🧐🇬🇧
