Thank you. I have had problems long term with super glue also. I use some but as little as possible now. Epoxy and wood glue properly used have not failed me.
@@twinoakstreasures9032 I was using little magnets like that to hold my lathe tools in their stand. I didn't notice it come off but the lathe knocked it off the tool.. Got exciting for a moment lol

The magnets are1/2 inch in diameter and 1/8 inch thick

You are correct. The lid magnet is 1/4 inch in diameter and also 1/8 inch thick.
