  • Fritz Liedtke is a fine art and commerical photographer whose career has spanned most areas of professional photography. His true passion is in his more personal work and his fine art projects. He has won numerous awards and grants for his work and has been published in many respected photography publications. His most recent project, Astra Velum, utilizes Lensbaby lenses and a photogravure printing process to capture rich, nuanced images of subjects with freckles.

    I used tilts and shifts to correct distortion in buildings and increase depth of field.

      rembeadgc exactly sir exactly. The (imperfections) if you want to call it that , are the characters within a picture or subject.

    How do you make money at this? Will people really buy a print of someone they don't know?

      I frequently sell my prints of people. Just like someone will love a particular nature image, they will also be attracted to faces and bodies of a variety of people. Art is more often that not of people we don't know.
