Thanks for your work on this. Special for me as the old Edson Trail passed right through our farm.

Watching this made me realize that I must have travelled parts the old Hinton Trail, as pieces of that trail still prove access, but since the fifties to oil, gas, utility and logging activities.
A must for the millennials to watch, perhaps they will realize that life back then wasn't served on a silver platter, but those were personal responsibilities. Only the strong determined independent and self sufficient pioniers had what it takes to overcome the challenges. Rights then were earned and entitlement would only leave you starving.

Check out my playlist "Vancouver island Chronicles", you'll find more historical docs here. Many of these titles were included in my series on Chek TV. Cheers Ed. ruclips.net/p/PLBTnL0UBykXyIA8ryVmBvHNjjeHYm8gVi

Excellent! My mother was born in Grimshaw, Alberta. There is a book about the area in that time period called Land of Hope and Dreams. I have extreme respect for the pioneers - our life is extremely easy compared to theirs.
