    I'm trying to wrap my head around that the CH 37 Mojave had TWO radial engines in it and how that must have sounded! This one is the bees knees!!

    I was a radio operator on this back in 1950's. Fold out station for operator is across from the door. Air sea rescue at 54th ARS Goose Bay, Labrador.

    I also flew in the H-19 several times to record my flying time for my flight pay. My 4 hrs. had to be in before the 19th each month. Most of my time was spent as a radio op crew member in the SA-16. We had 5 of those.
