Vikings maybe but not sparta. Sparta lived at b.c times but Vampire species created at a.d 1000s. The originals are 1000 years old. So Sparta is roughly 1000 years older than vampire species. In this case there are two options 1- If Silas did not locked and if he wanted to spread his spell, we could saw Spartian Immortals. Actually Silas was Greek. 2- We could see Ottoman empire or Konstantinople based greek origined vampires. Not Sparta.

This is the same kind of awesome character that shows like supernatural just dont seem to like keeping. For me it was always death, and on this show its shen. They truly act like what they are. Death is a primordial force that encapsulates everything even god so he is unsettling in his level of calm and never speaks above a loud whisper. Shen was always a torturer and always used to pain so he is calm, collected and never flinches even bitten by a werewolf and impaled. Even Elijah had that look of minor awe at just how dedicated Shen was to his cause and yet how strong he was

Also you'll notice I'm not mentioning Shen being knocked out by Hayley because that is clearly her just being miss plot armor because there is no possible way she could achieve that considering how easily Tyler who isn't too far behind her lost to Damon in a fight.

Lots of vampires are dead by the time of legacies. Elijah's, Kol's, and Finn's sirelines are all gone. So any vampires left are from Klaus' or Rebekah's sireline. Mostly Klaus because it seemed that Rebekah didn't have as large a sireline. Also any of the Vampire Diaries characters would have been killed pretty fast in the Originals considering the number of ancient vampires that appeared. Also Shen wasn't over 900. He was turned in the 1200s

I hate Hayley. I still don't understand how she managed to knock out Shen Min, a 800 years old vampire. The venom of the werewolf bite doesn't have an instant effect, and a hybrid is not supposed to be that strong She has the biggest plot armor in the show, thanks to the writers who love her for some reasons. But they don't understand that making her beat all characters of the show, either in a fight or a debate/discussion is not going to turn her into a great character. Not all the writers do. Hayley's biggest plot armor moments are usually in episodes written by Caroline Dries. For some reason she adores Hayley. She wrote the episode in season one of The Originals where Hayley defeats Mikael on the Other Side. As for Hybrids, their ability to channel their Werewolf side grants them a big strength boost. That's how Tyler was able to briefly overpower Nadia in season five of The Vampire Diaries. But for a Hybrid to defeat an 800 yr old Vampire, that's ridiculous.
While I agree about Hayley, I feel that Marcel Gerard had even MORE plot armor. Hybrids are about as strong as a 500 year old vampire, as you mentioned. Marcel is only 204, he should be incredibly weak. Of course, I am talking about before he took the potion.

That's something solely made up to prop her up.) has nothing to do with anything. You don't get the strength of an Original cause your family is dead/you married the actual Alpha of the pack.

He was dodging firstly and took couple blows punch before pushed her into the wall and choking. This scene isn’t a good demonstration of strength between ancient vampire and young hybrid because the fight was too short. Tyler and Nadia was good one because it was bit more demonstration. Nadia was off guard then she was held Tyler. If she was stronger then she would have managed break out from Tyler holding much more quicker. She attempted to breaking by turning around but Tyler turned back while holding her. Remember he was holding an 522 years old vampire who is ancient vampire as well which it isn’t easy to hold long. Last resort was hitting on him head and escaped. Hybrid Tyler is slight stronger Hybrid Hayley because of his athleticism as untriggered werewolf then this athleticism from sports amplified as triggered werewolf then as hybrid enhanced more. Hybrid Hayley is more combat skill and more experienced in combat given edge against Ancient Vampires.

Actually the hybrid has the strength of a 2 year old vampire+the little bonus warwewolf strength she had which is actually weaker than many male warewolf's so Hayley is actually a lot weaker than a 100+ year old vampire like Marcel and the only reason she keeps up with the original family is because they don't want to kill her or seriously hurt her this is evident as when Rebekah got crazy she easily kicked Hayley's but and Rebekah is probably the least skilled fighter of the originals or possibly behind Kol

I hate Hayley. I still don't understand how she managed to knock out Shen Min, a 800 years old vampire. The venom of the werewolf bite doesn't have an instant effect, and a hybrid is not supposed to be that strong
She has the biggest plot armor in the show, thanks to the writers who love her for some reasons. But they don't understand that making her beat all characters of the show, either in a fight or a debate/discussion is not going to turn her into a great character. She sucks and she will forever suck.
Not all the writers do. Hayley's biggest plot armor moments are usually in episodes written by Caroline Dries. For some reason she adores Hayley. She wrote the episode in season one of The Originals where Hayley defeats Mikael on the Other Side.
As for Hybrids, their ability to channel their Werewolf side grants them a big strength boost. That's how Tyler was able to briefly overpower Nadia in season five of The Vampire Diaries. But for a Hybrid to defeat an 800 yr old Vampire, that's ridiculous.

While I agree about Hayley, I feel that Marcel Gerard had even MORE plot armor. Hybrids are about as strong as a 500 year old vampire, as you mentioned. Marcel is only 204, he should be incredibly weak. Of course, I am talking about before he took the potion.

He was dodging firstly and took couple blows punch before pushed her into the wall and choking. This scene isn’t a good demonstration of strength between ancient vampire and young hybrid because the fight was too short. Tyler and Nadia was good one because it was bit more demonstration. Nadia was off guard then she was held Tyler. If she was stronger then she would have managed break out from Tyler holding much more quicker. She attempted to breaking by turning around but Tyler turned back while holding her. Remember he was holding an 522 years old vampire who is ancient vampire as well which it isn’t easy to hold long. Last resort was hitting on him head and escaped. Hybrid Tyler is slight stronger Hybrid Hayley because of his athleticism as untriggered werewolf then this athleticism from sports amplified as triggered werewolf then as hybrid enhanced more. Hybrid Hayley is more combat skill and more experienced in combat given edge against Ancient Vampires.
