Justin was in character even when he began talking because Blake wouldn't shut up. He knew the camera was rolling while filming a scene that would not have sound by them so he remained in character, Ryle romancing Lilly. Cut and he is out of character. He wasnt into Blake.

I only read the book after this nightmare!
The character of Ryle played by Justin is obsessed with Lillys neck and her tattoo. Always caressing her!

The difference is, Justin actually read the book and cared about its message, while BL didn't

Blake was awkward because she was trying to take over and direct the scene. Justin did nothing wrong.

The lady is speaking straight facts!!!!
If Blake could not deal with the intensity of the love scene, she should have stepped aside and allowed an actual professional actress to handle it because professional actresses know that they have to push through those emotions in order to deliver the scene. Acting is not for the timid!

I have seen actors for years talk about how love scenes and kissing scenes are very uncomfortable and not sexy or romantic like the scene portrays. Its very common

heres a non industry example that isnt even related to sexual context, I was in my highschool production of the lion the witch and the wardrobe (or Narnia) I was playing the white witch and she has to act a bit enticing and manipulative and the guy playing edmund was one of the people who bullied me and treated me like I was a lepper. i was in character and he couldn't just say his lines cuz he felt weird because of who I was as a person he couldn't get his head in the scene. cuz edmund in that scene is supposed to be lured by the witches beauty and promise of power. myself being a fan of the books and the movies of Narnia gave my all into the show and it took like the actual show day for it to feel natural.

Imho, Bottom line here is that Blake as an actress was way out of her depth. A seasoned professional
actor would have followed the cues from the director & the book. But Blake never even read the book. How could she understand who Lilly was??? Blake turned Lilly into Blake. In all of her other film roles, she basically played herself. The fact that she
Never read the book says it all. She didn't have the acting chops to play this type of serious character. She even marketed this film as a rom/com instead of the serious subject the book portrayed. What a tragedy for Baldoni. Blake has destroyed her own career all by herself.

Since I saw the on set footage I've always said that Baldoni acted professionally and that he was in character through his body language. His character is supposed to be falling in love and his body shows that for the scene that's needed.

Everything she said is what I’ve assumed. I’m not an actress but I assumed a slow dance scene wouldn’t be choreographed down to the t. That seems odd. There has to be some improvisation. And if she was uncomfortable, she should have spoken up. The man is not a mind reader. He was in character. I saw no SH in that footage.

Why would Blake be uncomfortable acting in a scene where it was supposed to be their characters falling in love? She took the job so I assume she read the script but all I saw from was her trying to direct Justin by stand here, lighting this and that, we should only be talking not kissing, don’t give the audience what they want, talking about her relationship with Ryan… Blah, blah, blah. She didn’t seem to ever get into character at all! She stood there talking while Justin was moving around, grabbing her hand, leaning in, gazing lovingly, touching her hair and lip clearly just trying to get the shots in needed for the film while trying to brush off the cringy insults she was slinging about him being a sociopath and needing a nose job. He did his actual job and that’s somehow SH? I don’t get it.

Imho, If Blake looked uncomfortable, it was because she knew RR would see this cut. And by all accounts, RR has an extremely
jealous nature. If anyone made her
Uncomfortable, it was her own husband.
I could see RR making Blake
    pay for this
    FOREVER, or
until she decides to escape his retribution. RR
will NEVER let her go. I fear it could get violent. This could be a tale of life imitating art.
I hope Baldoni has body guards because this looks like white rage on RR's part.

Any physical contact of any kind must be discussed, planned, and legally scripted. With acting, this just hard facts. The IC wasn’t on set. So I try not to g ok by who felt what here, only contract violations. And that’s exactly what happened. I mean, I’m sure nobody likes this, but the court won’t care. It’s sad he didn’t protect himself better, if it was the truth that he felt close enough with her personally. That he could just improve a scene. It’s still , just for me, like I would not be so sensitive about a bit of a nuzzle or kiss. But who knows, maybe there is more to her reasoning. BTA, yes ic does stand right there and yes the scene can be tit for tat that intricate. I’ve seen just a hand movement take a damn hour to get correct. Nothing like getting to set at 4am, leaving after midnight, and barely getting anything done. People think it’s glorious to be an actor… it is not, it is stressful, tiring, and highly depressing at times.

Also confused as to why you think a nepo baby needs to be defended more than someone who had to work their way up in the industry. Also telling that as of yet no one has spoken out negatively about Justin, same can't be said for Blake.
