I usually only use one layer too, duplicating once in a while incase I need to go back. It's easier to edit things lol
From what I see she uses a new layer every now and then and then merges it with the main one, eventually it looks like one layer she’s working on

I know they has a different program but is there a way to do that on firealpaca? Did they just change layers? If so, how can you change the color scheme like that?
