First off you don’t love your husband or you would not have cheated. You emotionally cheated many times and 1 physical cheating is to much. Let’s not forget all the lies that go along with infidelity.
I’m so tired of the “It wasn’t emotional it was just physical” excuse. And don’t get me started on how they always love their husbands SO MUCH, but betray them for some new Dck. All these cheaters have the mentality of a toddler. Easily bored, need constant attention, and must be watched at all times.
Once the physical barrier has been broken there is no stopping deviant malicious habits fully possessing the paradise that had been built, the only way forward is to expel the perpetrator and rebuild the barrier and clean out the garbage where it belongs. @STB-jh7od and one thing so many older men and women told me was never stay simply for the kids. Kids will grow up believing their parents would've been happy if they weren't stopping them from being happy with some having to seek help to deal with it. It also creates bitterness and resentment that just makes things worse
@J.P_INC. I somewhat agree, but I also understand when fathers are scared of parental alienation and being cut out of their kids lives entirely. Also, there's the financial aspect of losing 1/2 of everything and then paying child support and alimony.
@STB-jh7od I say what I say not because of personal opinion but from what I've learned. I've spoken to people in these situations and learned how the parents and children were. I go by the old wisdom I've was given by so many elderly people. A wisdom that has been forgotten

But I've also seen men destroyed by family courts, lost everything, and those same courts that'll do everything in their power to collect child support, won't do anything to enforce visitation for the father.

When my ex and I split, I was pretty much taken to the cleaners in terms of money. But I got custody around 40% of the time, my ex and I were mostly together on matters concerning them and I moved about 2 miles away. That was awful in many ways and divorce affects kids but raising them in a home with no marital love might well be worse.
