    It’s funny because this is only truly an issue in conventionally managed fields in a regeneratively managed area it’s not because they are so reliant on external input.

    Now I know why amaranth has so many seeds. I planted about 30 spleen amaranth seeds, but they all got eaten by caterpillars before they had a chance to grow up.

    Would be a shame to go back to the old ways. A old timer farmer told me recently he thinks half the stuff he sprays on his crops are killing US.

    When I lived in Baja California Mexico we would see pink purple ish amaranth growing through roads and cement. It's all over the place.

    European colonialists brought their WEEDS to North America and call North American native nutritious vegetables "weeds". LOL LOL
