The passion and exquisite tone from Clapton's guitar always gives me chills. Just something about his style that is so unique and so appealing. Thank you for doing this song. Its one of my fav's.
Hi, glad you saw this; have seen Eric 7 times... incredible musician...he doesn't take a song off...the way he can play while giving it all is a astounding combination..cheers, enjoy your reactions &'wisdom..
HELLO PSYCHE.... I just wanted to say "HI"😘 ...I HOPE you've been having a good 2023 so far (I CAN'T BELIEVE it's February already!) You're looking as GORGEOUS as ever... It always gives me a WARM FEELING when I see your lovely, serene countenance pop up in my feed, Honey.🥰
Hello my dear, great to see you and read your lovely message. I can't believe it's February either, the year has started to fly. It's my birthday in 5 weeks and so excited! I am hoping to start my other channel soon, so copyright won't be an issue! I hope Mr Orcutt and your family are doing well. Much love and see you again soon 🙏🏽🌹🙋🏽♀️
Oh my..🤦🏽♀️, yes I heard he was hopelessly in love with her. Incidentally enough I was going through Netflix yesterday and there's a a programme on Eric so I may watch it.
You should react to him when he was in bands like : CREAM - Derek And The Dominos Live At The Filmore - Live At The Rainbow - Blind Faith . Also the CREAM reunion show .
Thank you for reviewing this track. A real classic. What really p?ssed me off in times far back was the radio habit of fading out a ‘too long’ record. The ‘frenetic’ first part is good, but I always think the ‘tranquil’ second part is the best bit. The bit the radio barons usually managed to lose. But, Psyche, YOU are much too much of a lady to deprive me of that long outro.
Actually Layla" is a song written by Eric Clapton and Jim Gordon, originally recorded with their band Derek and the Dominos, as the thirteenth track from their only studio album, Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs (1970) not 1984

When people talk about a guitar singing…it’s this
Yep 🎸🌹
Loved your explanation of what it made you feel, Loved your reaction Ty... ❤💯
The song was about Patty Boyd, George Harrison's wife who Eric had an affair with and later married.

Great song, but the guitar is just the best.

Belated commentary here, but wasn't Eric just one of the coolest back in the day. ONe of a kind.
🇨🇦 Original by Derick and the Dominos, in 1984 !

Kindly tell me the name of your intro theme song, I love the way it sounds like a 90's house music track!☺
Thats not layla, duane sllman is missing
Well the calmness might be, because he got with "Layla" aka George Harrison's ex-wife, don't worry he had already been with Eric's ex.
