I’ve always liked Dom Herbertson, the first time I saw him ride & “talk bollocks” to anyone nearby. He’s a genuinely upbeat person who nevertheless is a determined racer. He knows it’s a test of man and machine, and knows firsthand the price that can be called due. His first TT podium was among the highlights this year. Go well, Dominic!
Dom is a great character in the paddock,and the Chrissy Rouse and Dom’s podcast “Chasin The Racin he’s very funny hosting that show, and I was really happy for him when he won his first podium at the TT.. hopefully he’ll make it to the top step.
Dom is like many TT riders, a real battler , his whole year is dedicated to racing at the IOM for those 2 weeks. Over the past few years of CTR and see him progressing has earned my respect. 👍👍👍👍
First became aware of Dom & Chris through C the R and got hooked listening to them and then the tragedy happened. Its been tough for Dom and everyone else that knew Chris so its great to see Dom getting good race results. I grew up watching Hailwood Agostini Read but the one that heightened the public profile of motorcycle racing was Barry Sheene and with his personality if he had the right management team he could do the same for motorcycle racing today. His honesty in this interview is unbelievable.
He had a great TT. Best ever times in all four categories I think? Bearing in mind first time on a full superbike. Might well have got that 131 today had he not broken down.
It’s easy to see why he’s become a fan favourite. He comes across as himself and he’s super humble. Well deserved podium and it’s gonna be great watching him get better and better

Great interview with Dom. I very much admired Dom's interview with Grace Webb at the end of the first Supertwin race, he spoke very well.
