The fixation on arrests is just silly. An arrest in the UK is not the same as in the US. In the US you are arrested and the police tell what you are being charged with. In the UK an arrest is performed prior to investigation to allow evidence to be gathered to determined whether a law was broken. I was arrested and evidence gathered showed I had not broken any laws so I was not charged with any crime.
This is the most ridicuous rule ever! - In 1985 The Archbishop of Canterbury was arrested for singing psalms as part of a protest organised by the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament at Lakenheath, Suffolk. - During his school days Tony Blair was arrested having been mistaken for a burglar as he climbed into his dormitory after having been out late. - Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg was convicted for setting fire to rare Cacti on a school trip to Germany. Do they all obtain tourist visas??
Hi ! I have been refused a visa back in 2003 , due to a previous conviction , then i was given a waiver . I stayed for 6 months . Anyway 8 years later I will be touring America with my band for a month , and will need to fill in Non Immigrant visa form which our tour manager has just sent through , and we leave March 30th . How will this effect me ? As you can imagine there has been months of organising / venues / promotions / will i have problems or will they be ok with this ?
Even if you've been simply cautioned for questioning for a crime you did not commit? Seems a little harsh, if not flying in the face of innocent before proven guilty...
Please Please help me. My disabled son is due to travel to New York on the 19th December. I accidentally ticked yes to communicable diseases! As he is deaf and has trouble talking I confused it with communication. I tried to apply again but was again refused. Surely there is something I can do!? This will break his heart if he cannot go.
My ESTA was approved and then was told it was denied when I went to check in at the airport... Me and my girlfriend have lost thousands because of this and I have been given no explanation. I have already been to the US 8 times before! I’ve never been convicted, cautioned or arrested.
So your not an adult until you're 21 but they DO take into account a minor offence when you where sixteen! Somebody has had a fight, so fucking what? Are you supposed to stand there and let somebody beat you up, seriously injure or even kill you? There are perfectly decent people who have had one brawl twenty years ago and why the fuck should this affect them now? A caution means a CAUTION just as it implies and not a list of life-long restrictions held against a perfectly sensible adult
Its a joke, I was refused an ESTA for a speeding conviction 13 yrs ago so wont give them the benefit of refusing me a visa as this will mess me up for life going anywhere else because it will mean I have been excluded from a country
Please can you tell me what is conviction i had drink driving 2 years ago so now police call me to ask me questions because court send them orders so i visit there and they said me i have to give 500 euro fine and 4 months submit my license like not to drive 4 months but I didn’t go to court or anywhere is it conviction ?
@@manjinderuppal7513 Yes, it sounds like you have received a conviction for drink driving. Even though you didn't physically go to court, it's possible that the case was processed and a verdict was issued in your absence, especially if you were properly notified and chose not to appear, or were unaware of the court date. The requirement to pay a fine and the suspension of your driving license for four months are penalties typically associated with a conviction.
Of course, under the rules of the Immigration Service, some of the arrests mentioned in the video are most definitely not Crimes Involving Moral Turpitude, so therefore ticking No is perfectly legitimate. Unfortunately, the Embassy make up their own rules about this.

Did u get it?
a waiver is only valid for 6 months which means you overstayed it. You will not get a visa !

If it says 'arrested' this even includes if you were 'innocent'. Fucking bollocks!
