From Thailand, I'm very proud of you making Gaeng Kheow Wan (Green Curry) ! 🤣🙏🏻 Also... I recommend you to stir fry the curry paste with ur ingredients for a while before adding some coconut milk! , It would smell better💓👌🏻
Thanks for the tip!
I know it’s old video but I happen to have caught 19 inch jack smelts off the pier using live anchovy setup.
Nice!
Looks Good! Definitely going to try Jack smelt.
It’s definitely much better than people think!
Funny video! I used to catch smelt while fishing from piers as a kid but never one that big. And, yes, we always threw them back! Yours looked delicious though! :)
Thanks! People should definitely give them a chance. They’re delicious!
I just found your channel I love it catch and cook 👍👍
Thank you !🙏
I have 8 jacksmelt in a brine right now waiting for the smoker to be free.

You’re welcome!
They look like they taste good for a trash fish.
Yeah it’s all about how you prepare it.
What type of oil did you fry them in?
I used vegetable oil to fry this.
For the fish to taste better , the blue strip on the side of the jacksmelt is a bloodline that makes it taste fishy
Yes, but surprisingly, fishiness wasn’t an issue when I cooked it up. It tasted really clean and mild.
When done right though kinda taste like tilapia
Yeah I agree.
Maybe steam it with asian herbs & see how good it is.
Yeah I might give that a try!
Looks good
Thanks!
everything is from asian supermarket a place I wouldn't know where to start
Yeah it might be a little challenge if you’re not familiar with Asian markets but at the same time it’s not that difficult. Good luck!
Cool
Thanks!
...smelt is good for ceviche!!!
Interesting!
