Don't knock yourself Callum, nearly 2 k views in 3 days is admirable and shows that you are providing a valued service. Thanks and keep up the good work, im not long started but hope to find enough to make my gran a ring before she passes, shes on oxygen now at home so if nothing else, wish me luck saving for your sluice 💌🙌
@@ScotlandsGold it looks like a solid sluice, the dream mat design works so well to capture all the heavies. The best 1 is the combo mat like you have 👍
They are 70 for box, that includes whatever capture arrangement and top flare lettering you can think of to throw at bruce,or u can copy my one. postage is 9.95 for DPD next day delivery, or half that if no rush, due to light weight and small size. Hope this is helpful Paul🍻
I’ve learned that I have a little loss as well but it was only at the beginning of the run when the mat was empty and let a few escape so I started just throwing dead (no gold bearing) material on the sluice to load the riffles and catches first then I have no losses. Another great day on the gold thanks for sharing see you on the next one👍🏼👊🏼 p.s. looks like over half a gram 🤩
Three more subscriptions. Then I'll come over for a beer, which you pay for. 😂. I recommend Scotland's Gold sluice box. The Sluice does a good job. Right on, Callum 🇩🇪⚒👍🤠
Deal, but my regular beer would offend you to the point of confusion. You probably wouldn't clean your toilet with Tennants🤣 I'm really impressed with the new box, future development looks exciting too😄✌️
Yes ! It seems to stick better to the silicone, and iam dealing with very fine gold the biggest piece so far 2 mm size the rest 99 % 1 mm and under . I was making different designs for the sluice Matt some small Riffles with a deep pocket and also one design I copied from a plastic Bee frame , and found out it worked very well holding the fine stuff the 6 corners cell does exchange well with the right flow But what surprised me was how well the cells hold fluid mercury, I was getting the mercury on the clay layer under the gravel, . One more thing the plastic cone frame I used had 3 triangles tapering to a point making the bottom of the cell s , and I believe that's why fine gold and mercury sit in the cells , the mercury actually twerks sitting in the cell ,none of the mercury sat in my riffles unless it was covering gold . Yes I Believe your fine gold count would go up + if I have to make a new Matt I would alternate between riffles and and honey cone for best results 10 cm of small deep pocket riffles and 10 cm of cone cells . My sluice is 100 cm long and 30 cm wide , and I should use a slick plate , 😁 to make the sluice longer . I made the matt thick 1.5 cm to give my Riffles a little height and depth, been using it over a year now , it's stashed in the forest, heat + freezing,in a camo tarp - no problem tuff and hardly worn lots of 1/4 and 1/8 material run over it . The cost ends up being about the same as buying a matt + your time building mould to press in and silicone 100% silicone , bee keeper supply 1 plastic frame 6 corners and 3 triangles in the cell 🤔 good luck 🍀 good digging 😁 I be watching 🙂
