Why do people always hate when their tank chooses ball
Because a VAST majority of Wrecking Balls don't provide any value. They think they're doing something when they tickle the backline, but without any communication with the team, there's nobody to capitalize on that. If my Ball is on mic calling out "Diving [support]" and we know to start shooting their tank, or to dive with him it can be great. But many ball players just like the movement and don't actually help the team win the game. They tickle backline and then get forced to grab health packs for 30+ seconds meanwhile we're losing a 4v5 🤷

Main reason is bc ppl dont know how to play with their balls lmfao. Any ball main knows, we do very well with a competent team that knows how to position and follow up, but not so well with a team that has glue in their shoes and cant EFFING WALK FORWARD

I actually had a bap on the enemy team doing this a week or two ago. Yeah, they won. I tried telling my team that Bap was an issue, but no one was listening. Focused tank, of course.
Tunnel vision is a problem in casual play and lower ranks in general.
They could have listened, and then saw a target, and started shooting.
And then proceeded to consider that there might be a more productive target to shoot at, or a more productive angle to abuse (which would give more productive targets to shoot at)
I'll take a damage Bap over a heal bot 8 times out of 10 as long as he knows how to keep himself alive

One time I decided to troll on 3 games 2 qp and 1 comp where I only did damage but after team fights were done I’d heal up the remaining people alive and we won all but 1 quick play lol

it's definitely not a troll account if you saw his gameplay then you would see that he can't aim for shit he doesn't know what target priority is and he definitely over aggressive he's just someone who has watched a few too many unranked to GM's

dps healers ruin the game
Ball is good people just aren’t that good at him so they think he sucks
Ball is good when you're communicating with your team. Ball lacks the ability to make solo plays against an enemy team that's competent, being that he can't really out DPS healing when he's fighting the backline the way a Doomfist can one shot someone, put his arm up and jump out. Ball excels when you tell your team "Diving Baptiste" or "Booping Rein" etc. so they can capitalize on that disruption. The VAST majority of Ball players I see Diamond and below tickle the backline, and then grab health packs for 30 seconds while we lose a 4v5. Ball has a very unique and fun play style, but suffers from being completely reliant on your team to capitalize on your plays, and when you're not communicating with them they get frustrated from not having a real frontline.
It’s not that they are not good with him it’s that he’s a rare weird pick and low rank players don’t get how to play with him
