Its the nitric acid over 95%? Also how long did you let it sit 20c after addition?

@@darianballard2074 I used 65% nitric acid and 98% sulfuric acid and 98% pentaerythritol When I added pentaerythritol completely to the acid, the temperature was below 10 degrees Celsius and it did not go higher, and I added it bit by bit.After I added it, I didn't have any crystals and it was all dissolved in the acid and my mixture was not white. I tried several times but it didn't work.

@@urgot-bo1lz You might be able to but it would burn very fast. I would try nitrating cotton rope and adding some baking soda to slow down the burn.

hi I have 70 purity nitric acid, how can I purify it?

Its easier to just make 95% + nitric acid then it is to purify it. You can convert the water in the 70% by bubbling dry (ozone O3 ) and nitrogen Oxide into the 70% and if you do it long enough it will become anhydrous nitric acid. Or you could mix the 70% nitric with 10 times its volume of 98% sulfuric acid an the distill of the nitric acid, this should bring it up to 95% or more.
