I finished flower of evil a while ago, but I couldn't stop thinking about this beautiful relationship between daughter and father, it's so cute! so here's an edit of them :)

The last scene of the drama was so meaningful I'm surprised how not many people talked about it. He was nervous, scared just like the first time he went to the hospital to meet his daughter for the first time. He don't remember her face, her voice, anything related to her. He didn't even know what to say, how he will talk to her or anything. But as soon as he heard her voice "Appa" he immediately bent down and hugged her. It wasn't intentional. Like an active reflex. His body remembered how he treated her daughter. As if he's been doing this for a long time. It was a special scene. Proves even if your mind forgets, your heart remembers. It remembers everything.
Exactly, I actually don't understand why some people were mad with the last episode specially with the dissociative amnesia. For me, the amnesia was the perfect chance for HyunSoo to rebirth, to be himself finally free of the lies, the pretentions, and the pressure of hide his past. His struggle in the last episode, is that he can't trust his feelings, he doesn't know if his feelings were part of the facade or were real. The last episode was basically his journey, he understood that his feelings were real, he trusted his emotions, embraced them and went back to his family by his own choice. It's so meaningful and beautiful 🥺 and as you said, even when he lost his memories, his love and feelings for his family were well engraved in his heart.

Flower of Evil is one of the best dramas I have ever seen. Not just among K-dramas but all dramas. It's just so beautifully written, directed and most of all acted. All the actors and actresses do wonderful performances but Lee Joon Gi is phenomenal. It should be a must watch. It has everything. Love, romance, mystery, suspense & so much more. I absolutely loved every minute of it.

I DID! And honestly im glad I did. It was so nailbiting and heartbreaking but in a good way. Up until the end I wasnt sure if theyll have the happy ending. It was so good and painful but in the best way possible!

Imho, the father-daughter storyline was the best part of this drama! It was so sincere and heart-warming... The way Hyun Soo was looking at Eun Ha made my heart melt each time. 🥰 I love each moment with them together!
This little actress was so genuine and natural, I believed her each smile and each drop of tears! She was perfect!
But actually, Lee Joon Gi's always getting along with children so well! I noticed it in every drama his character interacted with children. It's like his facial expression softens and his eyes become so warm and smiling... And children can feel it, they're always looking so comfortable by his side. When it's time, no doubts he will be a wonderful father himself!

It's upsetting that this drama is so underrated it literally deserves a lot more recognitions, I personally think that this drama is really good, the cast, the acting and the story, so if you're doubting to watch it go watch it, it's definitely worth it.

He didn't know he knows how to love , the thought he isn't doing the right stuff. People made him believe he's incapable of loving. But in reality he's a family guy and full of love. This drama made me think a lot about other people's sacrifices (and my own) and how much people try to live life still regardless of the hardships.

This drama is everything. The relationship between father and daughter and between husband and wife is different from the same you always have, it was something deeper, full of difficulties as in real life, it was-
I loved it.
The superb acting skills of Lee Joon Gi just shine throughout the entire drama, but his relationship with his child was so heart warning that we all loved little Eun Ha and his dad. Because Eun Ha and her mother were the most precious thing for the character of Lee Joon Gi and that is why he did anything to keep the only happiness he ever experienced in his life. The final hug was the ending we all needed: because he recovered his family and with that, the best part of himself. One of the best k dramas ever. P.S. I really hope Lee Joon Gi becomes a dad in real life some time soon.
Underrated one ... comp it yesterday stunned by the level of acting ... and lee joong gi is just amazing... he performed his character so well .. and other characters were also great ... the villian baek hee song ... no matter what how people hate him for his work ... but his level of acting was just amazing .... cha ji won .. she is also a great actress... everyone .. from kim moo jin to other ji won colleagues all performed their characters so well ... for sometime i was like is this real .... 😅😅...

This kdrama is so.....bruh can't even find the right words to describe it. This is just sooo INSANELY AMAZING. I have watched a lot of kdramas and movies with this type of genres but this one is far different from those typical suspense/thrilling stories. Definitely surpassed my expections and set my ideal stories like this too high. This is truly a MUST watch movie. Never regret a minute I spent with this drama. ❤
Yes, this is one of my top favorites! I will gladly rewatch it with someone else someday. Story is so captivating, the characters are memorable, some of the tunes are epic, and the ending is just excellent, given this drama's dark overtones.

Let's shower this drama with soooooooooooooo much love bc it is one of the best dramas to exist, and I was mind blown how skilled the director is that he mixed all the ingredients literally, emotions, suspense, action, thrill, self-reflection, love, fate, hardships, family's warmth, family's significance, all in one drama without compromising the quality rather just enhancing it. I completed it in a little over 2 days' time. The acting was top-notch, we all know how powerful the main leads are, ljg and mcw, but the other actors were also so good. I especially loved the detectives team, that sunbae that hoobae and team leader and how they cared for each other and stood by each other. Loved the chemistry between the main leads soo much.
LJG is my most fav person and actor. He nailed it again and so happy he chose this project despite its difficulty level.

Acabo de ver esta joya, no sé cómo no la habia visto, ese vínculo padre e hija es conmovedor, no se ve hoy en día, y esa actuación de la niña (Jung Seo Yeon) es espectacular y el padre (Lee Joon-gi) es un actorazo me puso la piel de gallina todo el K-Drama 👏👏👏👏💯💯 es hermoso y atrapante de principio a fin 👏👏😉

When Jiwoo asked Eun Ha if she wants her daddy to be happy and Eun Ha said yes. And then Jiwoo said that Hyunsoo has never had a chance to live his life for himself so she wants to give him his chance. If that is not true love then I don’t know what else is. 😭
Honestly the only thing i don't like about this series is that they took the memory loss route to end the series, like his character development was nothing... but overall this is one of my top favourite!!
The memory loss was not to bring a conflict in the story but to heal HyunSoo, that way he could rebirth, forget his traumas, specially the big trauma of almost losing JiWon, trust his feelings, and go back to his family by his own choice but this time without lies and pretentions. We also have a precedent, after losing his mother (a Big trauma) he lost his memories when he was young, this tell us that he probably can't deal with the pain of losing someone, it's a psychological response. And I disagree, the character deveploment remained with him, he lost his memories but all the emotions and feelings he learned by being with JiWon were engraved in his heart, he just need to trust in himself and that's the journey he went through in the last episode. A meaningful ending!

Adult actors are one thing and some of them are really born for that job and are impressive. Child actors on the other hand impress me even more most of the time. It is kind of crazy how good those kids are. I wonder where movie and tv show makers find them.

Ele foi completo, esse drama provocou em nós todos os tipos de sentimentos, kkkkkkkk sensação de medo, raiva, frustração, tristeza, alegria e revolta, sem contar a história de amor belíssima do casal principal, que juntos mostram que o amor verdadeiro consegue superar qualquer obstáculo. Só tenho elogios a falar sobre essa obra de arte transformada em drama, elenco excelente, a trama perfeita, toda trajetória da história foi muito bem elaborada, começo, meio e fim, nossa espetacular, amei, amei, amei demais.Eu confesso que fiquei com pena quando terminou, já repeti várias vezes kkkkkkkkkkk foi simplesmente inesquecível.

urgh their reunion being the last scene of this show was SO perfect. They didnt have a lot of moments in the whole storyline but everytime that daughter father pair were on screen, there was no questioning the complete devotion they had for each other.
throughout that last episode i was just internally screaming "why arent they showing him Eun Ha!! He'll know for sure how he feels!!" their relationship was the purest, most instinctive thing. It would have blown away all his doubts!
edit: a year later, I'm back and bawling my eyes out at this edit. The thought that this father and daughter could have been separated just breaks my heart.

I first watch LEE JG in scarlet heart, Its traumatizing.. not just because of the story, but also his acting skills is great.. He became my crush even tho his age is like my father's age lol. Flower of evil is reaaaaally a great drama, Im crying.. LJG never fails. In my next life, I want to be his wife. I also have a crush on Jongsuk, kim kwon, jung hae in and other oppa like hwang in yeop and lee jae wook, cha eun woo, jang dong yoon.. but its always joon gi. Im obsessed
