Same here, we'll struggle together. I can pull shots okay but it's the latte art part that gets me. Sometimes I have better days but most times they are terrible. I think I got the milk texture now but my pouring skill is so poor.

Since youre using a puck screen, theres absolutely no reason to rub the shower screen after you flush. Key thing to keep it clean is flushing for about 3-5s after each extraction. Also, avoid using the same cloth for everything... Have a separate towel for the steam wand/milk, as it tends to get dirty and smelly way sooner.
Another thing is that your shower dispersion looks like a bit of clogging because of lime/calcification. I suggest getting an espresso detergent, doing some backflushes, and leaving the shower screen and group plate submerged in the solution for a couple of hours to see if it gets better. Maybe a full decalcification?

Hi there! Thanks for your feedback really appreciate it!
About the shower head, i noticed it, tried backflushing the machine, and tried cleaning it by submerging it in the solution. But i only left it in there for 10 minutes. I plan on doing a proper cleaning when i get back, i'll see if it helps. If not yeah i gotta do the decalcification, it needs it, last owner said last decalcification was a while ago

@eduartCoffee specially in places with heavier water, it is important to keep track of your machine's flow rate. Not sure if it's gonna be helpful now, but once you do the decalcification, measure how long it takes to fill 50-100g of water. Then, you can repeat that and compare the durations. If it starts dropping, then it's time to do decalcification again!

Okay i'll keep that in mind. Note that i don't use tap water. I use store bought water, to avoit all the minerals in tap water, specially here in Romania i don't really know what's in there
