  • We wanted to leverage the power of "community" and encourage the spirit of innovation and collaboration when it comes to data storage. What better way to do that, then with a podcast appropriately titled "What's Spinnin' with 45Drives".
In episode 3, Brett and Mitch sit down to chat with Alex and Stephen from the Self-Hosted Podcast.
We talked about starting in IT and the early challenges of creating a podcast for the self-hosted community. Which episode has been their favorite so far? We're also excited to hear about their impressions of our new #HL15 product from #45HomeLabs.
Check out the Self-Hosted podcast playlist here: • Self-Hosted
Episodes also available on #Spotify and #Apple later in the week.

For me with IOT I am waiting until everything is running the "matter" standard protocol. Agree with PhD Robert Metcalfe "The Father of Ethernet" (inside joke) as he would always say "Standards, standards, standards". Often wonder were we might be without the IEEE 802.3 Ethernet standard.
Sounds like a good idea to purchase same storage size from different vendors in your storage solutions. Also just so you know just in case you have not looked at it GRC SpinRite 6.1 is in hopefully final release candidate that I am testing. Have used SpinRite over the decades on spinning drives. This release is much faster to work on large drives than the previous SpinRite 6.
