I was born and raised in Hawaii and when I went into the Army in 1970, I felt lonely and was constantly discriminated against but I met a white guy from Marengo, Iowa (Birch Everette) while stationed in Germany and he became my best friend. He treated me with respect and was a true friend. Many years later I searched for him on the internet because I never forgot his kindness and amazingly we finally connected on Facebook in 2016 and within two months he and his wife came to Hawaii to visit me after 40 years. I told him I met a lot of people from the mid-western states in my life time and that they are just like people from Hawaii, always smiling, friendly and will give you their last dollar if they had to. Bless people from all walks of life who are kind to each other. You make a difference in other people's lives.

Yess sir I met him while I was on vacation, and I saw him on Hollywood blvd and I was scared to go ask him for a picture cus I mean he's a huge guy and I didn't want to bother him but he saw me staring and walked up and said "ahhh are you a fan I was like uhh yeah Yess!! I am and he gave me the tightest hug and his smile oh my it's just so beautiful and genuine, my mom took a few photos of us and then he looked at my mom and said come on now there's room for more and hugged her as well the whole ride home we we're just talking about what an amazing laid-back guy he is.

You never know what you may find. I found out that Jason loves the farm land. For me I travelled to Ohio to see my grandmother and grandfather. They lived in the farm land all their life. Having a chronic illness and being home a lot being sick I have a lot of time on my hands and I would always go back to watching super hero movies. I said on a post a few days ago that Hollywood was losing the great role models like the Duke, Clint who is 88 and others. Jason is just a down to earth great guy, you can't fake being this gracious and caring. We need more like you and I will leave it there as far as Hollywood goes. You do remind me of my childhood idol, Elvis Presley, as you are never to busy for a fan it seems. Never change Jason, always be you. I hope you see the comments.
Yess sir I met him while I was on vacation, and I saw him on Hollywood blvd and I was scared to go ask him for a picture cus I mean he's a huge guy and I didn't want to bother him but he saw me staring and walked up and said "ahhh are you a fan I was like uhh yeah Yess!! I am and he gave me the tightest hug and his smile oh my it's just so beautiful and genuine, my mom took a few photos of us and then he looked at my mom and said come on now there's room for more and hugged her as well the whole ride home we we're just talking about what an amazing laid-back guy he is.
That's sweet of him to talk & take selfie with those girls in the drive through window.
I truly love how you stopped to talk to people and take pictures with them and how very gracious you are to people who enjoyed your movies and they wanted to make sure you knew it. It's very refreshing to see celebrities who are not wrapped up in a holier-than-thou attitude. You're an amazing actor and an amazing human being. Thanks for sharing this with us.

You never know what you may find. I found out that Jason loves the farm land. For me I travelled to Ohio to see my grandmother and grandfather. They lived in the farm land all their life. One of my favorite things to do when I am up there is look out across that back field and just relive childhood for a little while. Thank you for this. Much love to you and your family from Georgia!

Hearing my favorite super hero was from my state and lived so close to where I grew up was one of the coolest things. Having a chronic illness and being home a lot being sick I have a lot of time on my hands and I would always go back to watching super hero movies. Even as a teenage girl it makes me still feel powerful. I'm lucky enough that I don't have an illness that won't kill me but sometimes I would wish Aqua man would just take me to the ocean where I could meet every species of sea life.
