In Jeremiah 17:7, it was Jeremiah who wrote these words. “But blessed are those who trust in the LORD and have made the LORD their hope and confidence....”

“But blessed are those who trust in the LORD and have made the LORD their hope and confidence.”
He was very aware of the sins of of the people. He knew that man's heart is deceitful, and that fallen man can be swept into deep despair and fear when our faith in the Lord fails or falters. At the time he was surrounded by a nation that had fallen, and it was in his distress and frustration, that he sought the Lord for healing and deliverance.
Right now we have this division. We are waiting for man to make a change. Trust in God.
