dude the railgun on the FDX wasnt even suppose to be able to fire without making the plane absolutely shatter in pieces cuz of the focking recoil that even a tank cant endure
as a neo warfare pro, to basically dogfight you must pick a good plane such as, lockheed raptor and you must stay below 800 knots to manuver easily so you dont crash into the water/ground, make sure you have enough missiles/bombs to kill the enemy youre targetting and try not to get more than 1 enemies on your tail, the lockheed raptor is the best dogfight plane to choose because of its good manuverability, and weapons storage, and if you got an enemy behind you, do a backflip (make sure youre above 1500 altitude if above 800 knots)

I freaked out and fired my guns at the a-10, I managed to take 2 down. But one of them fired a maverick and I died. Another story, I was playing on bravo in an b-29 bomber. I was bombing a city, until an F-22 raptor came out of nowhere and launched a missile at me from 0.5 KM away, so I had no time to deploy flares. And when he killed me, he said, "ez trash". And so I asked him to dogfight, only guns, and no missiles. I used the F-14A tomcat, and he used his F-22 raptor. The f-22 beats the F-14 in almost every category. The f-22 outclasses the f-14 in Agility, turn rate, ect. So I took off, we merged, I went vertical, and so I went in the clouds, I picked up speed, I somehow got on his 6, I fired a shot, and did half his HP. He went up, I went lower to the ground. He came crashing down on me from above, and he ended up crashing into the ground. It baffles me that I beat an F-22 raptor in an F-14 tomcat. He got so mad that he left LOL. Those were my experiences with neo, ask me any questions if you want to.
The amount of people that spam missiles in Neo is actually one of the reasons I stopped playing it but it's always funny when I'm able to one shot somebody with the mac gun on a halo ship lol
