True, during their time most girl group were all about being cute and pretty, then comes 2NE1 bringing a different flavor to the industry. Girl Groups of today now also follow their footsteps. Being the pioneer of girl crush concept, 2NE1 is basically most gg's blueprint of today.
CL telling Minzy to enjoy the little things sounded like she is much older than Minzy even though they are only 3 years apart. CL sometimes feels like the oldest member because of the things she says.
When CL was talking about how she wanted for Minzy to try the little things, it makes me so sad. I mean, CL and Minzy were both extremely young when they started to train and sometimes people forget how hard these girls have worked to be where they are. They gave up their childhoods for their dreams and I think that's fucking amazing.

But there are some other groups I would say are up there in live performances as well, such as b1a4, bap and ft.island. I would say that in sm, shinee does pretty well too.

dara is a way better singer than she gets credit for. she's not great or anything but she's definitely not terrible like people say she is. even when dancing she's still pretty good, WAYYYYY better than the majority of female idols

Bom usually is a stable singer, but it depends if her lymph nodes are sore or are acting up. I think over the years she has practiced diligently to not let that affect her singing. She definitely sounds better in 2014 though.
