0:30 states "type 27 guard has an open face, while a type 1 guard has a closed face." ?? I don't see the difference, as both guards shown cover 180° of the wheel. Elaborate please!
At ruclips.net/video/rEboevEWSck/видео.html, the operator uses a wrench to tighten the hubbed wheel. Does he put the wrench on the 1" hex protrusion on the wheel hub? As he tightened the connection, I don't see the wheel or the spindle move. Where can I get a wrench like that?
Hi Joel - thanks for your question! There is a spindle locking button on that tool on the side opposite of the handle on the front of the grinder. If you watch closely, the actor uses is left index finger to depress the spindle lock button before moving the wrench with his right hand. The wrenches in this video come with the grinder.
Where do I get one of those beautiful Irish-Made grinders?!

Both cover 180 degrees but the bottom face is open on one type.
The difference is shown at 0:45 and 1:12
