This is Absolutely Stunning, I enjoyed the video so much it felt like I was in the Helicopter in person. Thank you to the Awesome pilot for such an Amazing flight & this video. 👏👏👏
I was given a ride for my Birthday a few years back. My wife and I sat on the side seats and my daughter was on the otherside side seat. Although we were all three Glider pilots it was the ride of our lives. Not for the fainthearted,
I went on this ride many years ago and it was really wild! The pre-flight disclaimer is signed for good reason, as there is zero safety margin at such speed only metres above the ground. Slightly different terrain now as we flew up and over quite a few small dunes/hills. The camera does flatten the perspective a bit, and feels way faster with the g-forces when actually in the cabin.
Thank you so much for sharing this Awesome video! I have all too often seen this beautiful bird from the ground and wondered what it must be like! I could never afford this so am So Happy to see the view from up there! The two reservoirs at approx 18:00mins, I used to play at as a small child when my late father was in charge of the area... I learnt to drive on those dirt roads at 8 years old... One reservoir is about 5 stories tall and extends another 3stories below ground. So many memories brought back to life seeing this! Thank You! 👍
Fun story. I have never been on a plane or helicopter and back in 2009 they were still building a stadium in the city I am in for the soccer world cup at the time. It was our wedding so my brother got us an expensive gift and so did my husband's brother. My brother gifted us a weekend at a B&B and my brother-in-law had the draping done at the wedding for us. However, for my brother it was a gift and did not care who spent more. For my brother -in-law, well he wanted to one up my brother on his gift but couldn't. For my husband and I, we didn't care either. We did however decide to pull one on his brother for trying to out do anyone where the gift and it's costs were concerned. So, as my husband and I were walking along the beach road that weekend at the B&B, we spotted a medium billboard along the side of it and it was an advertisement for the stadium being built and had an aerial shot over it. I took a photo of it and said to my husband that it would be funny to send the pic to his brother and tell him my brother got us a surprise gift. A helicopter ride over the city and this was the photo (apparently the only one) that I took. He believed us. I never told him the truth. In fairness, I forgot about it. Fast forward at least a decade later and I was watching one of those air crash investigation shows on tv and said that that is why I would never ever fly. My brother-in-law was there and said "But I thought you flew in a helicopter". At that moment I wondered, should I keep this going OR see if he would be gullible enough to believe me yet again. I told him "Yes, but that was in a helicopter. An airplane is different." Let's just say he gave me a look for a moment that I thought meant he was going to say but it's still flying. He didn't. He simply said "Oh, okay". Suffice to say, he still believes we took a trip in a helicopter. It has now been 14 years since.
Awesome Aircraft, Great Company and fantastic pilot. Ground-crew needs more training on CAA Helistop safety protocols. Never take your eyes off disembarking passengers. That is a active Aerodrome. Both were inside the cabin un-clasping passengers, leaving passengers to wander un-assisted.
True facts. In the beginning I was wondering how come the guy with the hoodie/cap on. It's a Aviation safety risk right there. Nevertheless I could see the guys enjoyed the flying 😂😂😂😂😂❤
I agree... But they are a good company with a good reputation and for them to fly that Huey, simply is awesome. I hope to fly with them sometime. I also hope they do pick-up on our little safety hints because it is well intended. Would also help if the ground-crew wear their luminous-clothing and drag their little fire-extinguisher with. From what I could see, the male ground -operations guy was training the young female.@@LeonJohannesLionKing
@@westernallianceprotection3518 Hi sorry for replying late but I think you & me must go and give them proper training regarding Aviation Safety & Risk Management
Did this many years ago. I remember they weighed us. Took off from car park by district 6. Loved it unfortunately I lost pictures. Long before cameras on cells. ❤❤
Stall turn! Epic! I would obviously be the guy hanging out the side trying to touch the water! It was and always be my biggest dream to become a heli pilot, but it is financealy out of my reach.btw, whats the cost for a flight like this, and the company's name doing these trips?
If you use pounds, dollars or euros then everything is very cheap in SA because of the poor exchange rate. I flip like this is generally R1500 per person. Less than $100.
He has one basic job, walk the passengers from a building to the helicopter, he forgot his high vis and had to shout for someone to get it, then spent an inordinate amount of time putting it on, how much is he paid for that simple task? Not sure I want him putting on my seat belt…… 😂 which was proven when the other chap fitted your seatbelt properly. He even says this is the best pilot like he is an authority!

That stall turn was epic!!
Superb video, the loader guy was right when he said at the beginning 'he is a good pilot'
Drop down low over the sea was superb to watch
