Awesome coverage guys. Kudos to Adam for the technology piece. Now start thinking even bigger with camera crews on the line, someone in the pits reporting on the technology, backstory interviews with the competitors, equipment discussions, etc. Really well done.

Excellent video and it really shows how the wind can push a round. Even at 600 yards last weekend at Bisley the wind was moving impact by 6" left or right. So these shooters were doing very well...

Would've been interesting to hear your take on why his last few shots were good wind, but low. He didn't drop a low shot all day until then. He must have had somewhere else he needed to be.

Crazy ending! The one thing I noticed just watching this. Speedy is correct. There is a ton of shooter movement with a right bolt left port action. Especially without an ejector!

Question for Erik, mate what's the plastic sheet of material on top of the barrel on Bob's rifle? Is it for stopping reflection off the barrel into the scope lens? ? cheers ✌🦘🦘👍👌

Also how hi does the projectile lob over the flags are they going over the trees to get to the target or just under, as the flags are saying one thing, but its were the projectile is lobed onto the target, if you know that then you know that the flags are only a indicator, its the arch of the projectile at 1,000 yds, how high up above the flag poles is the projectile going before it drops down to hit the target and when does it drop at 900 yards 800 yards etc etc.
That's what is important and also the ballistics of the custom loads as well, meaning is it at 2,850 ft per second, so basically the bullet will impact the target in just under a second, which if you do the maths the bullet drop will be at around the 950 yards mark before it hits the target, but its the wind at the projectiles flight path which is important here, not the flags, sure they are important, but i wonder if anyone has done this with a wind radar down range so to speak to see the what the wind is really doing like doppler radar but for wind, just to see what its doing down range and also the grass's or lawn also has a effect on the wind and projectile? ✌🦘🦘👍👌
