- Sawhorses. How to make multifunctional sawhorses.
Sawhorses with addition of t-tracks makes great versatility.
Made this sawhorse as proof of concept. Will see - will it meet my expectations.
Scrap wood, aluminium square bars, hand tools, power tools.
Wow, the idea of making T-tracks from aluminum square tubes is genius! +1 and subscribed.
I like the idea of using the t-tracks. Think I'll incorporate that into my own modifications! ;)
Holy T-Track Batman! A micro-jig dovetail clamp set-up would have saved some dough.
Great. Most original sawhorse i've seen. Original and useful. Thanks for share.
Cool, but kinda need a very flat floor. Using feet like that exposes any unevenness. Also bulky and heavy.
He knows what he's doing... he's wearing green crocs
Safety is a number one priority, green Crocs rock.
Very clever idea, well done.
That's a neat workstation, thanks for posting
Brilliant!
Not "saw horses"... I suggest a catchy name like, Clampmaster Work Bench, or maybe something like that?
eric brufatto The Clamping Station!😜
Very good. This is a beautiful work
this is freakin awesome, i moved into a small apartment a year ago and this is exactly what i need
brilliant - very nicely done!
Hi, just got to say, loved the home made T-track and absolutely brilliant idea to stick them on the legs too. Not all of us can afford a triple garage with a fortune in power tools. Cheap and practical. I love it.
Thats slick👍
Enjoyed and thumbs up also
Vert good idea!!! 👍🏻
a sawhorse of awesomeness!
I don't think I've ever seen a track and clamp system like that before . Really cool idea , would be great for a work bench/table as well.
Are those crocs steel toe?
Excelente!!!
What the heck is this guy doing wearing Crocs while wood working? And then running his finger over the friggin table saw blade. Practice a little safety dude! Great design ideas BTW. Just be careful.
Is it me or does seem like you wore crocks and shorts for all the cutting and router work and then you wear jeans and shoes for the unveiling .I would give an A for design/idea an F- for shop safety
You're being generous on your design grade...
great project. I'll make myself one in your style. Funny note: your hand-drill sounds terrible on fast-forward...
G.E.N.I.A.L👏👏
Man! What’s the matter with your drill? Sounds like the gears are about to give it up.
The ten second rule again. If I don't see what I might want to built within ten seconds I don't hit the like button and I don't watch the video.
That hand saw at the beginning sounded dull.
Good idea. Nice Croc safety boots!
they're OSHA aproved/leisure wear steel toe safety boots 👍. if you dont like him working in those , send him a pair of Red Wings .
Very nice and elegant
Interesting idea. But, a saw horse is supposed to be lightweight so it can be carried around for work. This thing must weigh forty pounds with all the hardware added on. Some of the ideas could work well on my stationary tables.
That's what I was thinking... I've never had to clamp to my sawhorses. That's what my work bench is for whether it's my mobile or stationary version.
Great tips, tricks and hacks!
Thank you buddy 😎👍
Nota 10 tambem quero todas estas ferramentas 😣😣😣😭😭
Are there any easy way to do the mortise -- It takes too long
Very nice. Do you sell them as a kit?
I bet the t track could be made from 80/20 extruded aluminum instead of the aluminum square bar
This is the most original sawhorse tutorial I’ve seen
Great to see you keep your hand tools nice and sharp.
Excellent visuals…horrible audio
Excellent sir,Very useful.Want to know how the material used to strap the wood.Thanks...
So cool. Congrats.
Wow, super idea ! Thanks .
Is that the guitar track from Wierd Al's "Albuqurque"?
Where can those F style clamps be found? I've looked for years for something like that without resorting to welding clamps
harbor freight and just grind off the end until it fits in the track. cheap easy f clamps
There are some Produkts available. The Festool clamps fits in and Bessey also offers clamps for a M8 T-Rack system.
Clamps I use are Makita 194385-5
Great! Truly inspiring.
Ome you gave us wood noises annoying, steps were long and drawn out when they could have been simple.
I've got t-track in the side of my work bench. Good stuff.
nice video mate!
This is great, thanks for sharing
what style of clamps are they? ive got all the raw materials but no clamps
T-track clamps. They come in various sizes and configurations. From Rockler: www.rockler.com/shop?w=t-track+clamps&oq=T-track+clamps
From Woodcraft: www.woodcraft.com/search?q=T-track+clam
Microjig and DeWalt also make them.
Clamps I use are Makita 194385-5
Don’t have time to make saw horses...I whack a 8x4 ply onto my box trailer and get straight into it🤣
Good job and a good idea. A pair of quick clamps might make it a bit quicker for you.
Yea not if ya got move em
In each of the sample uses, why cant a regular clamp (going around the saw horse timber) do the same thing. What does the track add?
Yes, when using regular clamp t-track makes only small difference - holds clamp in place. But t-track can be used for other things - to hold toggle clamps, bolts (for example to mount vise on sawhorse), etc.
I would like the channel if it wasn't for the so called music so i will promptly delete from my history so you won't come up in my feed anymore
Sure would suck if people kept replying to your comment to up your engagement score and get you more recommendations from this channel...
This is so fucking clever and amazing. Well done mate !
Thanks so much for sharing your great idea.
Супер
Very cool ideas ! Master, genius!!
Sensacional friend
I would have enjoyed the video much more without the banging ?music.
Nota 10!
I have spent months researching how to build a table saw and discovered a fantastic website at Wilfs wood blueprint (check it out on google)
English only da Silva
I like the design and the size of the 6x6,s who would steal them ? they could ,int carry them LOL the track setup is thinking out of the box great idea !
another osha morón!🙄
DAM YOU GOOD
If I were you I would use those horses to replace the legs holding up your workbench. I believe saw horses are light, can be broken down and portable to take from your shop to another location to set up a temporary work station. That being said your craftsmanship is excellent.
Ken Corsell a pair of these versus more portable saw horses yeah but just one of these in addition to everything else I haul from one jobsite to another would be an excellent addition for a lot of jobs
This one is really the best thing i have seen on youtube. Very good job Thanks voor sharing !
You could even, clamp them both together, using the same system, for all sorts of applications, even a bench seat. end to end … for example … ;-)
Nice design. Enjoyed the video but had a hard time focusing on the project and not the CROCS.
ADD? ADHD?
Croc's are not the best shoes to wear in the shop. #SafetyFirst
Ok
Yeah, flip flops are much better.
És um gênio 👍10
Nice
Awesome bro, tnx for sharing it!!
Another music video posing as a how-to
great idea thanks, i made the same (without the T Track) but con-caved the base of the feet, to allow for uneven/bumpy floors. Definately will be putting in T Track in my next lot of Horses.
I get so embarrassed when I see neat work.
Two thumbs up Mate. I really like the design. I know there have been a few comments about quick clamps, but these style clamps have a lot more holding force. Sure you can sort of manipulate F style clamps one handed, but this looks a lot easier. Have you found the aluminium tracks to be strong enough and would there be any point to upgrading to mild steel?
For woodworking/ my needs aluminium tracks are strong enough
I like the T bar idea must be cheaper than buying the ready made
nice , i want to make one cool video
👏👏👏👏
An angle click clamp would be even faster, the prices aren’t always agreeable however.
Very practical and handy clamping sawhorse, great stuff.
👍👍👍
This is a good idea, but you could justo use clamps on a sawhorse and it works pretty much The same.
Hey Liam slow down and learn I am almost 60 and Phil must admit this blew me away. Do you really think you can get the same cut from clamping an old sawhorse to plywood. I will call say good idea, I do see a couple of of applications I plan on trying this on, thank you very much.
Sorry for auto correct adding the names in my comment.
I like the safety crocs your wearing
Exelente muy bueno
Excellent and beautiful
Cool!
Awesome great idea 😎
safety crocs
VERY NICE
That's a right smart idea. Ima steal it.
Very good.
where did you get the clamps or did you modify them yourself?
Clamps I use are Makita 194385-5
