Con un aire flamenco podría ser algo épico y todo un reto sin duda alguna. Muchas gracias. Saludos.

He currently plays graciliano s guitar from cordoba spain, he recorded part of tierra with a negra and plays also with those on tour, with a gracialiano blanca (cypres) , but he uses more than one guitar only, his reyes his devoe his etc etc

Again, to clear up the confusion about what guitar is being played on this video, it is a Francisco Navarro model made in Mexico. It is a long story how this came to fruition and I'm not of the opinion to discuss how this all came about but to say that I drew a 2003 Reyes style plan for the Guild of American Luthiers and later showed this plan to Francisco to try out for his different replicas he had built from other master builders world wide. Francisco also builds a very good replica of the Miguel Rodriguez classical guitar that I drew for the GAL; among Fransisco's access to other master Spanish builders, etc. Also, I think this is a matter of economics, more than competing value against value, since the Mexico model has a certain advantage over most Spanish prices. And as to my credentials in this matter are concerned, I teach tonal top tuning world wide to anyone who chooses to excel in fine tuning concepts, ask Manual Adalid, one of the principle owners of the Esteve Guitar Factory in Valencia Spain. Francisco has never taken one of my classes but he has listened to some of my suggestions concerning fine tuning the top.
para mi lo que suena mejor es la segunda y claramente la tercera :) pero eso poco importa porque una guitarra buena todo pueden comprarla pero el corazon y lo estilo de Vicente no se puede comprar :)
Just checking back to see if anyone has heard about the guitar sales of this F. Navarro model. My computer got fried in its files, with a lot of contacts.

Ok. didn't figuered out who builds those guitars. Some people mention the name Navarro eventhough i never heard of this luthier. I mean who cares? Vicente himself would never play such a guitar neither for his records nor for his live concerts, not even for private use. His beloved guitar was made by Manuel Reyes Sr. That's the guitar he most loves. There are some others he likes. One of them is a negra built by the american luther Lester DeVoe. I'm quite sure there are some luthiers who have built guitars for him as gift. He plays them occasionally. So this signature guitars are just a marketing ploy. He most probably get's some money for each one sold, but i'm not sure he is really happy with it.
He had been developing a pickup system for less headache with sound engineer so maybe this time he will be using these personal models of his for concerts. I know he will NEVER drill holes in his PRICELESS Reyes.
Tom Blackshear Poncho Navarro is a very accomplish guitar builder in Mexico. I don't know where Vicente is with ordering his guitars but I do know that Poncho supplied there guitars to Vicente for a possible business deal for resale in Spain and Europe
Tom Blackshear Poncho Navarro is a very accomplished guitar builder in Mexico. I don't know where Vicente is with ordering his guitars but I do know that Poncho supplied some guitars to Vicente for a possible business deal for resale in Spain and Europe. I supplied a modification of the 2003 Reyes flamenco guitar and Poncho studied it and made his own style for Vicente. I Choose to make a 2003 Reyes plan for the Guild of American Luthiers in 2004 and made 4 copies of that style as an honor to Don Reyes Sr. This plan has received world wide attention but as for the model, I understand that Sr. Reyes makes many models that are different from each other.
I have supplied the Reyes 2003 plan to Francisco (Poncho) and he has done a very nice job of building a replica. Whether he is using this model for Vicente is not known to me but I feel Poncho has done a nice job, nonetheless. As it is Vicente cannot get one of my personal builds.
Well when looking at the headstock design it look like a derivative from Valeriano Bernal. I don't know for sure if these are out of the Valeriano shop but soundwise it fits too. I personally don't like it. The guitar has precisely that box sound that i didn't liked in my Valeriano guitar. Vicente doesn't seem to be too happy with those guitars either.
the guitar was made by Fransisco Navarro in Mexico possibly from a Manuel Reyes plan that I gave him when he was in San Antonio, after the NAMM show in Austin Texas years ago. Nice guy and he is a talented builder, going toward a progressive tonal quality that will improve its market value in time to come.
