Royal Caribbean 24 Hour Eatery Cafe Promenade & Sorrento's Pizza (4K)

- On most of the Royal Caribbean cruise ships there is a 24 hour restaurant called Café Promenade where you can even grab some casual snacks which include cold sandwiches (which include gluten-free & vegetarian options), plus various sweets such as cakes & cookies. You can also enjoy coffee there, or order more premium coffee such as espresso for extra charge. Sorrento's Pizza opens from 1 PM to 3AM, and offers several different varieties of hot pizza as well as cold offerings such as marinated olives, prosciutto, Muffuletta Sandwich, Seafood Salad, and sweets that include creme brulee & chocolate cappuccino.
See the different snack food Royal Caribbean offer at these two eateries, including menus. These were from our February 2019 cruise aboard the Liberty of the Seas.

Oasis of the seas cruise ship this week, definitely going to check out these. Carnivore pizza for me.

Yup specialty coffee is included in the drinks package, though if you're on one of the bigger ships which have Starbucks, the coffee at the Starbucks is not covered by the package.
Another great video. Agree that both options were great. I liked the carnival pizza better although I felt like they preferred to give you a whole pizza as opposed to cutting it up. The non-pizza options at Sorrento's looked a lot better than the ones I saw on last week's cruise (May 2022)

Been on three RC cruises pre-pandemic. The Cafe Promenade and Sorrento's Pizza just didn't compare to the International Cafe and Lido Deck Pizza on Princess. RC does somethings better than Princess, like entertainment, but not so much the "grab and go" food. I also like that the Lido Buffet only closes for overnight on Princess -- it's always open during the day and into the late night. On RC, the Windjammer would be closed when we would return from a shore excursion, and wanted a lite snack to hold us until our late dinner plans.
Thanks for sharing your experiences- they're spot on! We do have a more recent video of the Sorrento's Pizza out- it has definitely improved. But yeah we really liked the 24 hour International Cafe on Princess, and look forward to another Princess cruise in the future.
Is there a pizza place on Harmony of the Seas that’s included in Cruise price? Carnival has a 24 hr (nearly) pizza bar.
Yes there is- Sorrento's Pizza which is on most of Royal Caribbean ships.
@@TravelTouristVideos I just booked on Royal Caribbean Rhapsody of the Seas for next May. It is a smaller ship and does not have a Sorrento’s pizza. After your honest and funny review (a little bit better than frozen) it sounds like we won’t be missing much. Looks like Costco pizza. So MSC and Princess both have better pizza! All the food you see here were included with the cruise fare, except for the specialty coffee drinks

When you go to Cafe Promenade, do they let you take the plates out of their Cafe to your room or to eat somewhere else o the ship?
Absolutely- and that goes for any other restaurant/eatery on the ship as well. You can leave the plates in your cabin when your done, and your room steward will take them during cleaning, or you can put them outside and usually a crew member will go around & collect them.

Hello thanks for the video, do they have something at promenade or Sorrento a for people who do not eat red meat or pork. Maybe a chicken option or chicken salad sandwiches.

Yup they have salads, grilled veggies, a veggie/chicken pizza option, along with a chicken or shrimp sandwich depending on the ship. There are also selections of cakes, cookies & other desserts.

Might as well go to a local mall !! thats why I go on the smaller ships I like to feel like I'm on an actual ship !! there has got to be more to life than just eating until you explode
I hear ya- the mega ships don't really feel like a ship at times. The nice thing though is that you can walk to an outside deck within minutes and see the ocean, and of course many of the dining venues have windows.
How many cruises do you go on each year?
As often as we can 🙂. Our record was 7 in a year, but because our son is in school there is less free time so we're doing about 3 a year. How about yourself?

As usual Good Video, 10 more days to Independence of the sea. need to disagree with you Sorrento Pizza is whole lot better than Frozen, Papa, Pizza Hut.
Do they custom make pies as well? Or is it just what's already prepared?
That is an excellent question- recently on the Liberty they told us they do not do custom, but during our cruises on the Allure & Oasis we were able to do custom. So apparently it depends on the ship.

Magic of course! 😉 This was actually on the Liberty of the Seas, but yeah these Dreamworks characters are on all the Royal Caribbean ships. It's really fun to take pictures with them and watch them in parades- definitely one of the many nice things about Royal Caribbean.

They are all included with your cruise fare, other than the specialty coffees.
I think the specialty coffees are included in your beverage package if you purchase refreshment or alcoholic.
