This isn't "special" though because her infusion doesn't come from a skill or an ultimate. It comes from her Bond of Life. If you have 30% Bond of Life, regardless of what is happening, you get a pyro infusion. And while yes, her BoL is usually obtained through her skill, it works different than how any other infusion is gained because the skill is not the trigger.
Also Lynette, Chiori and Ayaka keep their Infusions after swapping as well. So they're deliberately giving only certain characters an unending infusion, but Arlecchino was not the first of them.

I think Arlecchino DOES lose her infusion when switching out, but the game checks for her health and Bond of Life and gives it back to her again when switching in.
Diluc and Noelle never lose theirs when switching out.

Arlecchinos infusion is not based on a skill, it's based on her BoL.

What I mean is: She has a BoL, and then switches out. The game then makes her lose her infusion because she's not on field, but when she returns, if her health is the same, she gets her infusion again.
The effect is the same in the end, but I feel like Hoyoverse deliberately takes her infusion off when she's off-field, but given the nature of her infusion, she recovers it when she takes the field again.

arlecchino gets a infusion from the bond of life from her skill, so once she loses the bond of life from her skill she gets uninfused but with the other characters at the start of the video dont have something from one of their skills that give them a infusion, its from the skill itself

Actually, as a Childe enjoyer, it's a good thing he can't, because then if you wanted to save time on animations, you wouldn't be able to. He'd just save his infusion until the 30 second limit and then the 45 second cooldown would be horrendous. And now, if you swap out, at least it's not a problem

Ayato's infusion is not that a big problem since the cooldown is just 6secs or more if you lost it midway. Just do you rotation better with him.He is good for quickswap
