These girls are so beautiful... as someone who’s always struggled to accept my thick thighs and big arms, it’s really amazing to see girls who are muscular, healthy and happy!!!
I'm glad they're doing their best with the masks, local sports where I am aren't doing masks at all. I hope they get to have a full wonderful season this year. Excited to see the new girls this year and get to know them :D

Working out, people breathe heavily and the danger of transmission is worse. I think mask is actually a good way to train, like running at a higher altitude and then doing better at regular altitude
I think she'd be such a good coach. She really blossomed in her senior year as a strong leader. I think her wisdom and unique technique would be appreciated by the team
My thoughts exactly👏🏽 I was a gymnast for 7 years (I quit around 2 years ago) My cousins had come for a visit, so we got our nails done. It was my first time ever, also my last. I’m not even kidding when I say I couldn’t do anything. Can’t even imagine doing Gymnastics with them😭

I really hope that if the school provided them they got ones that are effective.. ie fabric type(s) and thread counts are high to reduce the spread of respiratory droplets .... I would hate to see any of the girls getting sick =( I know they must be hurting because they lost a significant number of seniors last year and again are missing incoming freshman due to the moving of Tokyo to 2021... I'm routing for them 100000000%!!

i don't think so lol i had medium sized nails and was soo scared to do any tricks especially on vault i thought they were going to snap and i would fall and break my neck lol. i have seen other gymnasts wear long nails i think they would need to be really used to wearing the nails but mainly short nails with nail polish is ideal
have anyone realised that this is the last class of the 2018 team that won the national championships? Yap, this is it. Probably the last class I will keep following but its been a tough road
@@lonnellwashere that wouldn’t matter as quarter schools start practice when semester schools do. My college was semester and most of the other schools in our league, PAC 10, were quarter. Now, pac 12, its more even. Anyway, I had friends at quarter schools who’s football teams would be playing games before their school yr started, which means that practice started at the same time as semester schools.
i hope that male coach looks out for them as good as the female coach did especially after nassar i really hope he doesn't like so many other male coaches dont ignore the concerns of his female athletes

They just have to be careful with it. If they are doing skills that require them to have adequate breathing then they'll probably take it off. The masks can make it harder to breathe so they kinda have to balance when to wear them and when not to, but besides that they should be fine.

Their passion and drive for their sport trumps the obstacle of wearing a mask. I’m sure they’re careful with making sure they’re breathing well and getting enough oxygen.
I teach gymnastics to young beginner gymnasts and lemme tell you, I struggle with breathing. I’m super impressed some of them are able to wear the disposable ones bc those are impossible to breathe in
