I prefer to use the acidic plains for farming. It’s a pain at first for the ratio for sludge to water conversion is not great but once you reach level 3 you can cover the whole map and never run out of resources without ever needing to build ironium or carbonium factories. As for ammo and storage I build them on desertic maps. And voila:)

There's a mod to disable storage warnings by the way and it's a lifesaver. Longer power connector mod is good too. I like the ones that improve the game without making it easier, though I do use self repairing pipes and power line mod because I've got better things to do in my life after a hall storm and the base game needs to fix this.
A low-aggro map does help a lot in this case. Stregros nest and acid resonance are my two recommendations. Stregros nest has no negative events but lacks power options, though it's still possible to cover the entire buildable plain with solar. Another advantage is the stregoros nest is a small map (for performance) but still be large enough to build all solid processing facilities. Acid resonance has some negative events, but power is practically unlimited. Sludge also means water so cultivators are easy.
Yeah, I went on a volcanic biome yesterday, that place was VERY froggy compared to the others. The natives were thick, angry, aggressive and endless. Combine that with what felt like near endless volcanic bombardments, Riggs taking damage from the heat and me not having a base set up........
I was stuck on how to get the extra ammo and this by far explains what what i really needed to know so thank you and keep up the good work with the videos 😎
Nice video's! good explanation with a calm voice. maybe you can do a video about unlocking stuff in campaign. Regularly im stuck in the story trying to figure out how to unlock the next material (titanium / plasma ect..). Not being really clear to which world to go and do what. Keep up the good work!
you have magma, dessert and sludge biomes and you have uranium, palladium and titanium. guess what: euch biome is for one resouce. tropical for Cobalt, dessert for uranium and sludge for palladium. what migth be magma be for? 😉 right titanium
I´'m spending a lot of time learning how to play game and i also get lost about what to do sometimes but the game does tell you what you can find in each biome, i dont remember now but you can check the history log btw (its really useful to me hehe). So my advice is just go visit all the biomes and the game tells you what to do there and then. I'm not native speaker sorry about my english i hope you understand.
favorite defense is 2 tier 3 walls...then 1 row of alternating t3 railguns,t3lasers, and t3 gatlings...then behind that a row of t3 artillery...and maybe some t3 rockets for fun.
Hey, I keep on having this issue with sludge pump switch on/off. that cause power to switch on/off, my ratio was correct, I don't know what is going on. does the liquid storage stop that from happening?

Starting to build this right now :) Now at the top left on the screen, there is this message "return to your hq via the orbital scanner" - this message seems to not go away, even if I jump back and forth. Any ideas how I can get rid of it? Because I do not see it in your video.
You unlock it. The pods that cover the map that spawn monsters when you touch it, those have a small chance to give you new mech skins and decorations. Happy hunting!

lol. forget it. I just figured it out. I'm thinking about ammo storage, but the tower ammo factory is what makes the ammo, that is what I actually need more of.
There's technically a glitch where you can build 35 ammo storages though!! Starting with zero, build 17/18 level 1 storages. Then while holding ALT, it ignores how many you built, then you can build another 18 lvl 3 storages. After that, upgrade all the level 1s to level 3. only happens on vlog, in game... u only need 5-10 ammo factory.... and they all unlimited to beat 500% wave multiplier..... that is too much bro.... all that excesive production going to waste......

I haven't been able to get the full game yet, but am about to tart playing the demo. This video has so much info, it's almost overwhelming.

you can do the same thing with the magma. but once you do setup cultivating all this is not needed as much.

It's a bit disappointing that achievement hunting forbids the use of advanced power buildings. Solar, wind and geothermal are all it allows.
Well, the achievement is for survival. Depending upon the map and the timer you set, you never need to grow beyond solar and wind.
