Mark Buehrle is my all-time favorite White Sox pitcher. I attended his final game for the Sox (which he won!) A 4-time Gold Glover. Plus: Buehrle is one of only six pitchers in MLB history to throw a no-hitter and a perfect game!
Buerhle is the only pitcher in mlb history to face the minimum 27 batters in a complete nine inning game three times. His perfect game. In his no hitter, he only allowed a walk to Sosa, then picked him off first. In a one hitter with no walk, the runner was eliminated on a double play.
This guy made me a BJs fan before they were really good..was a sox fan before and I witnessed his World Series pitching as a kid then when he moved to Toronto, I began liking Rios and Scutaro..BEST OF ALL I WASNT BANDWAGON WHEN THEY FEASTED! What a class player
I miss burehrle in Chicago
Once long ago there was marky mark. Thank you for more than a decade of throwing up zeros. No one ever again will dom no. 56
no matter what he will always be a white sox player
Here was a genuine workhouse, in an era complete with flame-throwers who blew their arms out too quickly.
Konerko totally underrated with the glove. The man had the best hands in the business
