Wow that's cool that the real three guys this is based on were actually in the movie and I love you guys content the Luther Vandross version to me is the best and I'm actually surprised Roger Ebert actually gave this movie a good review it's definitely a classic

I just re-watched this last night, and liked it much better than when it came out. But that kid who played the young slim had on a tragic wig and his makeup was so thick it looked like blackface.
Yeah, those jheri curl wigs were not that great. 🤣
