Thank you so much for your video. Hoping you can answer a few questions as I just booked a last minute vacation for my family (2 adults, and our 3 kids - 18, 16 and 12). What time of year did you travel there? We are looking for a resort with a beautiful beach that we can swim in / snorkel and an active pool with a lazy river/slides. Our most FAVORITE beach was at Beaches Turks and Caicos, so I was really excited when you compared it to Grace Bay. I've been watching a lot of videos, and there are people saying how the beach was "awful" - said it was rocky and too rough to swim in. T&C beach was like swimming in a crystal clear pool. Did you find the Macao beach rocky and too rough at times? Did they ever stop you from swimming because it was too rough/unsafe? Thanks in advance. I will check out your Dreams Onyx but high priority on our list is a beautiful beach!!!
My apologies for the late response, I've been traveling! We vacationed to Dreams Macao in February. Macao Beach is beautiful. They did have red flags out here and there because the waves were pretty strong. There was vacationers walking a half of mile up the beach because everyone said the water was calmer up that end. GB is definitely the best beach I have ever seen so far! I would highly say do Macao if the beach is more of what you are looking for however Onyx had more amenities and activities on the resort to do! Dreams Macao was nice but I definitely prefer Dreams Onyx! The waterpark, entertainment, & restaurant options are better in my opinion. Onyx is also bigger and you also have access to Breathless which is an adults only resort next door
How were the drinks? If you were to rate the food 1-10 what would it be? Did they have a nightclub? I’m asking this because I’m stuck between Onyx and Macao as well! 😂
Highly recommend Dreams Onyx! I've been there 3x lol! Food, drinks, and the entertainment is great! Plus you get access to Breathless which is right next door (an adult only resort) and Onyx has a cool waterpark! Dreams Macao was cool but would choose Onyx any day!! Thank you very much Queen!! I’m definitely going to look into it tonight. I’m booking for a birthday trip as well for a friend so trying to get the best outcome. I usually do Iberostar or RIU but always wanted to try Dreams after I saw that beach at Macao.

No problem! Yes Macao Beach is breathtaking but at Onyx you get more amenities!
