This video and workona is amazing. I have been wishing for something like this for so long. I habitually have over 200 tabs open at any one time. This is a Godsend
Just started trying out Workona, it'll be a while before I have a real opinion on whether it makes my life easier but I thank you for taking the time to show us some basic features on it.
Thank you so much for this video. I thought I was getting stupider by the minute when I couldn't understand a video I just saw about Workona on their channel, but after watching your video I realized it wasn't me it was the video. I can understand you and your message clearly and I love you don't use any of the sound people make when gathering their thoughts like...mmm, ahaa, mmhu, ehee... and your unexpected jokes made up for the tour at the beginning that gave me the impression you were just a showoff person. LOL I actually enjoyed it while I was learning. Thanks again.
I'm trying to use v1.3x and don't have the ability to see tabs and resources at the same time as you show. It seems that there is a huge difference between the free and paid version. I noticed that you have not replied to any of the comments. I enjoyed you video and have a few questions.
workona have a stupid bug, it loses tabs randomly, which makes the extension unusable what is the point on saving a tab if its going to get deleted randomly
@Novo Vibes ... It would be great to see a comparison between Workona and other tab managers. I have been using tabXpert for awhile and see most of what Workona has. A better explanation of the Resources section would also be appreciated....Is that a sub-workspace, meaning those resources/"pinned" are only for that workspace, or across workspaces? Workona only has two videos that don't explain nearly as much as what you just did, so any extra help would be MUCH appreciated. The more extensions that I can get that combine the features of multiple extensions, also educing the memory footprint, the better, I say.
I settled on tabXpert after trying a few tab managers, including Workona. I found Workona looks better on paper than it performs in practice. In fact, it was quite miserable in practice. By contrast, tabXpert has been a kick butt extension in my experience. Be careful if you decide to try Workona yourself. It takes over your whole browser to the point that it's very hard to remove it. I ended up starting from scratch and restoring my sessions manually.
After trying it for 2 days I noticed that it slows down the chrome browser even if the tabs I am not using are suspended. Do you know why is that? Thanks for sharing.
In my experience, Workona is one of the worst tab managers. In particular, I've found both Cluster and TabXpert to be much, much better than Workona for tab management. By the way, do you find this video, and many of the comments, sounds suspiciously like an advertisement? Workona is expensive, really slow, very intrusive, awkward to use, confusing, and feature poor. Remember, Workona is a business whose business model is geared toward getting businesses to move their entire work flow into their system and then start paying steep monthly subscriptions. That's not the approach that's going to produce something pleasant for the average (if any) user. It's also hard to uninstall it without your tabs being lost (as I learned the hard way).
Why they gotta try to charge $6 *PER MONTH* for this stuff? No one, and I mean NO ONE.....wants to pay for a subscription service every month and that $6/month adds up to $72/per year and that's just for *ONE* app. Add that cost to all of the other subscription-based business model services that absolutely every company perpetually tries to subject the masses to, and before you know it, you'll be required to pay through the nose for services you need just to make ends meet. It's an exploitation business model is what it is. Not to mention every product you buy anymore uses the same 'creeping incrementalism' business model to transfer your wealth to them, usually in the form of a new company offers a quality product AT FIRST.....and then OVER TIME......it gets re-engineered (as planned from the start) using inferior materials and manufacturing techniques, but still charging the same price, which is equivalent to your being charged more for the same product, and all the while, these parasitic and predatory companies are hoping you won't notice the pattern and end game of their business model, which is to make more and more money off you by selling you more of a bill of goods than anything of actual value. What this guy said about 'keeping this inn mind' that Workona may eventually implement their Pro version and then reduce/limit functionality and/or features of the free version is an absolute warning of what WILL happen. This exact scenario has played out countless times over the past several decades and is only becoming more common as people don't seem to be paying attention and noticing the pattern of behavior with these parasitic and predatory companies and industries. They will ALWAYS try to screw you, but if you refuse to let them, they can't do a damned thing about it. Except charge less. And screw the consuming masses less. Competition is GOOD. But so is paying attention to what companies are trying to do to you (separate you from TOO MUCH of the money YOU have EARNED).
Thanks, as of Mar 2021 the Free plan is limited to 10 workspaces / user. 'Tabs Outliner' chrome addon is a great alternative for tabs management, unless team collaboration capabilities is a must
I think Toby is great alternative for workona because it's free for personal use and have almost similar features as workona except notes and tasks. I have used it after seeing your comment and loved it.
Sounds great, but I have one (and the "major" problem): I need Session / Cookies isolation. I achieve this only with Firefox with the url about:profiles. Is there any chance to achieve the Session/Cookies isolation with Workona? Thanks in advance.
My browser has been hacked. When I go to search something on google a fake website redirects me to bing search engine each time I go to search for something on google. The fake website is "charmsearching". Does anybody have this problem after installing Workona? Thanks.
What is the best way to manage this with multiple monitors? I was setting this up and it kept shifting everything to my center monitor vs screens 2 & 3.
When advertising this app please do mention that once you decide to quit using it all you're previously otherwise grouped tabs will not be restored to how they were. I wanted to give it a try, encountered multiple issues and unexpected behaviours and the outcome was? An hour wasted getting all my tabs back and organizing them anew. I Absolutely advise against that app.
My students will be shocked when they only see a few tabs during Zoom! Thanks so much!
You're Welcome, Penny 😄👍

This is my first time watching one of your videos, & I'm in love with your character 😂. Thank you for the tutorial.
Very clear, light and well presented video! I might give Workona another shot after giving up on it many times in the past few years.
Amazing video! Informative, to the point and engaging. Please post more on other productivity tools you have found useful on windows.
Actually, it has indeed solved ALL my problems!
Just found your site, this is AWESOME! Thank you so much, you were clear and concise :-) Can't wait to start using it!
Hey Don't forget to include an affiliate link of workona under this video when the paid option will roll-out.
Many will opt-in through it.
Thank you for this video.
What about the existential question of computer resources, RAM, CPU?
Yk the chrome extension of Undetectable AI really save me from writing long essays and copy paste essays
This is what I was looking badly...thanks buddy.
It IS awesome! Great view and best explanation of Workona yet. Thank you! (new subbie)

@@rockysmitt what did you find tabxpert did better?
This a really a good one.
I will recommend it around.

Thanks man!
I just check now. It says 300MB/user for free account. Any idea what this "300MB" means?
300 megabytes
thanks
感謝推薦,收穫滿滿👍
I have to agree that I like Workona, but couldn't justify the $84/yr to keep it after they went Premium.
Have you tried Riandrop.io ? its similar to workona I believe - but greater features in free version....
