    Beast! Great tutorial - The snare/lead trick is so similar to the old Tom Staar white noise thing he does with his kicks too!

    Okay for the water atmosphere type thing, you can layer it the same way you layered the pad so it could sound less weird but you can as well leave it like that
    Or you could do a volume automation where by the water atmosphere is most clear with the chord stacks

    is this going to be a track? sounds like you got super into it when the water sounds came in. I would genuinely like to hear final product feels original and hope for release feels like a hit

    what did you click at 4:12 that pitched up your whole project? never knew about that feature

    • @realsoundstorm
      @realsoundstorm  11 месяцев назад

      There's two ways to do it. There's the master pitch (only applies to stock FL plugins). But in this instance, I had to change the fine pitch in the third party plugins for each individual instrument. I just changed the pitch setting in Serum. Using the master pitch knob doesn't change a third party plugins pitch like Serum.

      @@realsoundstorm if you set the bend range in serum (or another 3rd party plugin) to ±12 and enable main pitch in the settings, the master pitch will change the plugin

      @@lukaxz Yep I have used that before but for whatever reason I chose this as my main method these days

    Ok but how did you mix the lead with the chords? I always have trouble with my lead drowning out.

    • @realsoundstorm

      Its called LD Epic Lead, unfortunately cant remember where I got it from. I've had it for a very long time, I think it came with the install of serum

    great vid! im an FL studio user as well, but I dont have serum. is it possible to still achieve the same sound on a different VST like sytrus or something? I mainly make mashups so I'm reallllyyy noob when it comes to actual production and using synthesizers lol so I'm just curious how youd recommend learning that or if there's ways I can use free presets online in a native FL studio VST.
    thanks! keep up the concise, informative vids! :))

    • @realsoundstorm
      @realsoundstorm  11 месяцев назад +1

      Yup, absolutely. All that matters is that they are saw waves. Any plugin that can do that will work. It can even work with only 8 detune voices but it will sound less wide.

    • @Spikehead777
      @Spikehead777 11 месяцев назад +1

      @@realsoundstorm I don't have Serum, FabFilter, or Sylenth, but this seems like it should be possible with just a couple of Sytrus instances and some Parametric EQ 2. An instance of Fruity Convolver with the stock "White Noise" preset can blur the pads in real time. OTT is a free VST plugin. Vital is also free (some presets and text-to-speech are not, though).
      I really liked the sound of it at the end, I just wish the video was less "copy my settings" and more of a "follow along" step-by-step guide to set up the synths along with audio examples of what the individual synths sound like before being combined in the mix. Of course, a guide like that would completely balloon the length of the video way beyond 5 minutes.
