How do you account for the width of the bind? Wouldn’t that have to be added to the H & W? Thanks!! 😊
Hi there! I didnt see the interfacing used, just the fusible fleece. Can you explain where the interfacing is used please 😊 thanks so much! Cant wait to follow this tutorial!
@michellejohnson3524 I used the interfacing "Fusible Fleece" on the back, front and handles. The 2 smaller pieces for the book cover I do not use interfacing. Thanks for watching and Happy Sewing!
Hi Dee! If I were to add trimming on the outside, when would I add it?
@madisonkate05 Hi, I would add(pin) to the front piece and then add the backing adding a couple pins to the trim area to see if that's how you want it to lay. If it is tack sew trim at the seam area then add your backing and sew. Hope this helps :)
Do you think this would work on a Bible that’s soft covered
@amandadraffen978 Hello, Yes couple ways to support the bible, insert card stock cut to size of the front and back , or use a firm stabilizer along with the fusible fleece, and one more idea is to use the heavier canvas fabrics. Hobby Lobby has a lot of cute ones, Happy Sewing!
Thank you
Great tutorial
Where can I purchase the iron?
@Crochet Cognition Hi and thank you, The iron was purchased at Walmart for under $14, Amazon carries them as well but for a higher price. Happy Sewing!

The handle measurement and others are in the description box below the video and you can adjust to your liking as well. Happy Sewing!
