@@angelasheppard7197 thanks for the follow!
I've learned after the first year with my flower farm that I can't live without the netting! Even makes the snap dragons grow straight, or else I could never sell them. This year I replenished some of my ratty netting with green. I think it will blend in with the flower better and be nicer for pictures.
Netting is wonderful. Can’t live without it.
Cheer~~~~open-meshed material made by knotting together twine, wire, rope, or thread.😊
Thanks! I need to get me some of that!
It is so helpful!
Great !
We need a Zinnia update! :)
its my first year using the hortnova so its nice to see i was on the right track but missing a few key points
Hope everything is going well!
Thank you so much for this information! Do you need two people working together to set the fiberglass rods, or do you think one person could go down the row and come back up the other side?
You are so welcome! I hope it is helpful. It’s better it you have two people. This way you can pull and tighten at the same time.
Great video! Was searching for the fiberglass pole on Amazon but there were so many different kind/lengths. How tall are the poles and by any chance you can provide a link like ones you used? Many thanks!
The Hortnova netting comes in different sizing. I'm just wondering which sized square netting you used? I didn't hear you mention that in the video. Thank you 🙏
My netting is 4 feet wide.
What direction do you have your rows running...north to south or east to west?
Why double on the lizzies? Do you use a standard square size for everything or do you size per variety?
If you don’t double the Lisianthus they will fall over from their weight. I also double giant marigolds.
Do you have any pictures of how well the netting holds gladiolus up after their grown?
I don’t grow glads. It does a great job With top heavy Lisianthus.
Can you share pictures of how well the netting holds Lisianthus up after they are grown? I'm trying to see how well this works.@@1818Farms
Can you share where you got your overalls and tool belt?
Duluth Trading for the overalls. Toolbelt is Wheeler Monroe. I think she is on Etsy. I have had the belt for years.
@@1818Farms thank you!! Love them both 🙂
How high are the plants when you apply the netting?
The shorter the better. Less chance of breaking.
How far apart are your tposts?
Four feet wide.
4 feet

Hi. Great videos. Thank you.
One question....How do you burn your the holes in your ground cover?
@@paulnewton5436 I did a blog a few years ago that mentions our method and shows a video clip: 1818farms.com/blogs/1818-farms-blog/prepping-the-1818-farms-flower-garden
