Definitely going to upgrade from my pre LCI brake lights to these ones. After some time with my lights the plastic around the bulbs started to melt but I see with these ones there is no plastic around the bulbs just a pop in and pop out sort of thing. Thank you for showing because this definitely broken the deal on my purchase of this.

Oh man, this has just happened to me 2 hrs ago, same place, same bulb! I quickly realized it must be a bulb, not an LCD panel and I was right. Looks like a very easy and quick fix. Btw my car looks almost identical to yours: same color, same rims, however no fin on the roof. Could you please also make a video on how to replace the vent tabs? You know, these small tabs that you use to move the vents up/down and left/right. ALL four of them have broken out (1x on the left side, 2x in the middle, 1x on the right) in my car and I would like to replace them somehow. I do have a spare middle panel for the car (with two middle vents with tabs, together with the DTC and hazard lights buttons), but I don't want to replace the whole panel, cause that would require me to remove the decor bar and there is most likely no way you can put it back the same way it was originally mounted. And thank you very much for a very informative and helpful video! :)
about the vents , I don t think that you could only change the inner part , and to be honest it doesn t even worth it ... on ebay you can get the hole asembly and not that expensive. And about the mounting/unmounting part , don t worry about rattles and squicks after reinstaling all in because this is a premium car and the clips go right in and tight . It s not like vw where the moment you took them out it s a pain to put it back in like factory. My oppinion go right ahead and instal your pieces calm and assured that nothing is going to be changed afterwards. Thx for the subscribe tho' :D

thx, and about the blinker i did not have any issues but you can acces it by removing the wheel housing I think ...may be a simply coupling problem ! keep us posted

That is so wierd mine is lci aswell, 2009. And you have the same bumb for the inner tail lights beside the brake bulb. Mine is a smaller one has a H21w bulb
Just curious because I’m having the same issue and am just going to replace all bulbs at once.. are the 2 bulbs in the panel the same?

Salut, cum pot sa schimb butonul cel de la clima cu, care dai ventilatorul mai tare sau mai incet? Si inca ceva, am o medie de consum de 7l, si mi se pare cam mult tinand cont ca passatul 2.0tdi avea de 5.8l, crezi ca e de la filtrul de motorina pe care nu l-am schimbat? Scuze ca fac atatea intrebari dar sunt propietar de o luna al unui 318d e91 lci din 2011.
pai butonul nu -l poti schimba decat f f greu... ce are defapt ? , iar consumul poate fi de la multi factori dar in primul rand stilul de condus .. mai ales daca il ai de o luna cred ca i-ai dat ...
Ai idee si cum as putea sa schimb led-urile de la pozitiile pe spate?

nope , I had said that in another video because I think they do not look oem ... it looks aftermarket and I don t like it ..it a matter of prefference I think ..
Urbandriver i agree.. plus i had some serious scratch on right rear door in a parking lot and had to call the insurance company, the guy who came to examine the car even opened the hood and checked everything and questioned even about the lights that if they were oem or not 🤣 Didn't make much sense to me but that's the reality. I'm in favour of keeping things OEM as much as possible 👍

Awesome I changed my bulb but now it turned off the other ones like if the new one was taking all the power what’s going on here as soon as I put it in the rest go out
are you sure that is the correct one ?> and if so, you may have a short to +- on that one , get it checked by an electrician .
@@DrMeize yes autozone checked on the computer for the correct bulb and got it for me I just checked fuses and all are good..yes I will check wires next

Sincer sa fiu si eu am pe undeva un stop perfect functional dar fara sticla si nu vad cum ar putea reusi .. doar sa se chinuie extrem de mult si nu stiu daca reuseste sa topeasca adezivul care nu cred ca e ca la farurile de golf 4 unde mergea si in cuptor ( facuta de mine ) :)
@@DrMeize da,intre timp am constatat și eu asta și am renunțat, caut unu sh și aia e, mulțumesc pentru răspuns! Foarte bun clipul,am schimbat și eu bec pe stânga,credeam că e led dar a fost doar bec și acum nu mai am eroare de frână,am rămas cu altele :))
Change with conventional bulb normal, but when you change it to LED still error... anyone can help? Mine E90 LCI 2012...
you have to have special canbus leds , or else will not work and get faults

la mine arata masina ca am bec ars, dar daca schimb becul tot nu merge, am incercat sa schimb becul de pe partea cealalta, dar nu merge. este vorba de becul de pe portbagaj..pozitia
vezi s-ar putea sa fi patit ce am patit si eu si inca nu am apucat sa fac un clip. Coloana de fire ce intra in portbagaj prin dreapta are un fir de masa care se intrerupe din cauza uzurii .. trebuie verificat si reparat firul. La mine a fost rupt cam pe la jumatatea furtunului de protectie . Spor la verificat
