yep, I prefer my farther's garage though, at least then we know what we did and what state it is in: ruclips.net/video/PigC3u3-sWo/видео.html&t=455 ;-)
Sam: Even If your girlfriend is camera shy - that's her her right to be - I think it could add breadth to your videos if, only sometimes, off camera, whilst in the car, she could add thoughts and comments on the beauty of the places visited / the friendliness of the people met, etc. etc.
RUclipsrs who have sports and super cars never show cars that are not like what they have. It's like they think cars that aren't worth as much as their's aren't worth looking at.
Hope you get the drone fixed soon. Great video though. But i do hope that you will do more then just Porches when you are on the trip. Should try to get some local made cars when you are there. Like Holdens and the Ford models that are specific to Australia. Anyway, keep up the good work.
Your content is hands down the best - it's great to see the real life stuff as opposed to the "this car is so great, that car is so great, this is the fastest etc..." How did you NOT point out that gorgeous blue 928??? Keep up the great work!
Sam, From a local - whilst in Sydney check out the "Classic Throttle Shop". Housed in two of the bays within the Northern end of the harbour bridge, they specialise in obvious classic, but also modern classic luxury sports and GT cars. Its not only the cars but the atmosphere of the place is worth the visit alone. You can even take the ferry from the city (circular quay) across the harbour and walk up the hill next to the bridge.
Just binge watching the #DriveTheWorld series again from the start, got to say Sam, you and Vicky have made one hell of a memory together when you think about it, and to add to the greatness you brought us all along with you! Great series I must say mate, best on You Tube.
This is crazy first you go to Porsche centre Sydney south where I know almost everyone who works there, Then you go to Auto Haus Hamilton where my dad has been best friends with grant for over a decade what a small world :O
Great video. I remember when you could buy the Carrera GT quite cheaply after the 944 was released but then my PCGB membership number was 357.. At the time, I couldn't bring myself to part with my '79 GP White SC with factory whale tail and tartan / tan interior.
I'm 17 and having hair loss already. Seeing you this confident with over 400k people watching you, makes me feel better about my male pattern baldness. Thank you Sam
Some amazing cars at Autohaus, brilliant visit. Shame about the drone but otherwise another good video. Has Tony been keeping tabs on your progress and what does he think so far!
Would be great to see a map and some stats of your trip. I feel it's difficult to grasp how big a deal it is to do a lap of the globe. Love your content, great job
Much better music today and nice cars, I would like to learn more about the features of naturally aspirated and air-cooled Porsches though so maybe some day if you are looking for video ideas, consider that
Only 75 made in RHD......and my old one is in OZ now too. SLD933W, black and owned by me on 3 separate occasions. Only 210bhp but it feels like much more. Still a very nice car to drive, feels much more than the sum of its parts. Silly money now, every time I sold mine it was 10k around 15 years ago. 80k now.
Last time I was in Sydney was 2014 -great car scene for sure ! Make sure you check out The Rocks neighborhood near the Sydney Harbor bridge...your GF will enjoy it.
why didnt you show the martini?? lol but love the content Sam i also drool over the rally lights on Porsche’s. Thoughts about turning the lights yellow?
Another Crackin video Sam :-) That car is BEAUTIFUL :-) And what an Awesome workspace :-) Sorry the drone failed you, but the video didn't suffer for it in the slightest :-) Gutted the Mrs is getting bitten my the creepy crawlies :-\ Looks like you're both having a great time still, And thank you so much for bring us the great content :-)
These videos are getting really mad, absolutely crazy production level for RUclips. Congrats, Sam, your videos look like if my dreams come true hahaha Drive safe!
Morning is the best time of day here in aus especially the beach.... :-) If you would like to see a similar level of even rarer Ferrari's it can be arranged in a Melbourne workshop. Melbourne is pretty much motorsport capital for Aus. But your right we don't have the depth of experience or volume of authority compared to the UK.
Can anyone recommend anything car related in Sydney that I can pay a visit and take few pictures? Any museum, workshops, showrooms like this which can be visited? Preferably around city centre area. I'll be in Sydney in march.
Sam if you want to see very unusual Porsche come with Drive The World to Poland. Patryk Mikiciuk found ex rally car and he restres it now. If you want to see you can find Patryk's channel on RUclips.
Isn't that a 924 Carrera GT? it's like the 2004 996 Carrera Gt etc (i believe it was the name used for the Track option before Gt3 and the likes), with the 2004 super car i suspect it's not a spec derivative of a Porsche model.
hey mate sorry to beep at you like a crazy man at the itersection at rosevile / Chatswood at about 11-12midday Tuesday Morning or was it Monday????? Anyhow been watching you from down under for a while now great stuff. Never in my life did I think I would bump into you/see you Crazy Well I went crazy my mates in the car could not understand why I suddenly started carring on. Anyway amazing i got a glimpse of the car enjoy your trip AANND MANY MORE COOL VIDEO'S TO COME. is that how you say it... It might have been more towards 1pm-2pm I was in the White turbo Forester anyhow.
Love the series! Maybe add a roadmap in the videos of the trip you have done so far? Would love to see that!
Good idea
Agree
Cool idea!
Google earth studio would be a good option for this
Such a sick idea a
That shop is meticulously clean. That the place I would bring all my cars to.
yep, I prefer my farther's garage though, at least then we know what we did and what state it is in: ruclips.net/video/PigC3u3-sWo/видео.html&t=455 ;-)

Bit early to call that haha

He fully deserves it, hopefully by the end of Drive The World he may just be there!
Sam: Even If your girlfriend is camera shy - that's her her right to be - I think it could add breadth to your videos if, only sometimes, off camera, whilst in the car, she could add thoughts and comments on the beauty of the places visited / the friendliness of the people met, etc. etc.
Id tell her to kick rocks
Unfortunately she was ditched at the Porsche place, he left without her
@Blackporsche roadster SERIOUSLY??
@@integrafreak1 not a black widow, but some kind of spider, yeah.
Shame you didn’t go to Mount Panorama at Bathurst. Are you going to show some local cars like the Ford Falcon and Holden Commodore?

Denis Spratt Don’t worry, local cars on the way. People just keep offering Porsche opportunities ha
No, we want absolutely MORE MORE PORSCHE, love it
Need a utes review Ozzie pickups
Autohaus Hamilton is awesome. The workshop is so clean. Grant is such great person. So generous with his time. Happy you got to see the place, Sam!

I have never fast forwarded a video on this channel. Quality is varied and always well edited. Well done on 400k. Deserved it.
Great Video! Breakfast looks nice. That 924 Carrera GT what a cool car. 4 cylinder turbo sounds loads of fun. Keep up the good work..
This is crazy first you go to Porsche centre Sydney south where I know almost everyone who works there, Then you go to Auto Haus Hamilton where my dad has been best friends with grant for over a decade what a small world :O
You're literally living my life... This is weird
Fletcher Barratt
Careful he’s in your shower now

McCarrs Creek Road and the drive out to West Head are some of my favourite roads in Sydney. I hope you've enjoyed Sydney
Born and bread in Sydney Australia and I've seen more of it through your videos LOL. Top work mate. Love it!
As a Porsche owner and fan, it's great to see you have joined the club.
this guy deserves so much more subscribers...
Some of the best automotive content right here! Be safe traveling.
If the first videos are any indication of content to come this is going to be an awesome Drive The World Tour!! Good on ya Sam!
Very cool, love that gorgeous yellow Targa, the paintwork is stunning! If you can find some Aston Martin's somewhere that would be incredible!!
Top 10 video right here - great work Sam!
Great video. I remember when you could buy the Carrera GT quite cheaply after the 944 was released but then my PCGB membership number was 357.. At the time, I couldn't bring myself to part with my '79 GP White SC with factory whale tail and tartan / tan interior.

The idea of this trip is very cool, and I realize it's only a few days in, but I do really feel as though there surely is a lot more to show..
Yesss! Love the 924 Carrera GT! It just looks so good!
West Head Lookout! My favourite. I hope you went the scenic route out of there via Akuna Bay!
Those shots of the river remind me of the River Fal in Cornwall
I love these classic Porsche video's!
I saw you driving around in Brisbane when you were here! I couldn't believe when I realised it was you
Once again Sam, Amazing video you have here.. Keep it up! We love it so much😍

These vlogs......willl make 2019 a great year!!
Sam, top priority in Australia is to get some insect repellent. They're probably mosquito bites and won't be the last time you get bitten.
Fantastic!!! Absolutely loving this!
You make me want to visit Australia even more!
Conan Magruder come to our country we need your money 😉
@@burntfps It is the least we can do,... given your whole auto industry situation!

Great vid Sam. Looking forward to your next one
Ooooh that 996 GT3 RS. Mouth watering
Porsche shops are always so interesting.
More subs needed on this channel
They made just over 400 total production 924 Carrera GTs. The lovely metallic red 911 Targa in shot is finished in Garnet Red. Ask me another!
What color was that orange Targa, specifically?
Very interesting I love the 911 targa without the duck tail grazie ciao
I want that evolution Porsche poster at 4:52. Anyone know where I can get it?!
The Martini Duck Tail, beautiful car
Nice work as usual geez. Hey why isn't the missus in any of the film's? Come on!
I found one of these cars in dumpy car park in Caringbah Sydney
The colour of that cherry red Targa (or was it a cabrio?) though...
great video again ! keep up the good work sam
Very nice, as usual. Love porsche content!
Enjoyed it. Love Porsches
8 had this car in a 1982 version and it was just a 924 but the turbo version the 944 I always wanted.
These videos are getting really mad, absolutely crazy production level for RUclips. Congrats, Sam, your videos look like if my dreams come true hahaha

To correct you, the "orange" classic 911 is not orange but SIGNAL YELLOW or "signal gelb" in German. Colorcode 114.
I love the Porsche 944, it's part of my dream garage, would love a orginal 944 Turbo in Garnet Red Metallic :o
Gorgeous Porsche!!!
Sam if you want to see very unusual Porsche come with Drive The World to Poland. Patryk Mikiciuk found ex rally car and he restres it now. If you want to see you can find Patryk's channel on RUclips.
Add the actual kilometers or miles you have driven to that point in the intro. That helps to keep track
WHAT A LAD🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Keep it goin Sam!!
I'm surprised by the amount of people that don't know about the 924 CGT.
What watch is that????
Hi Sam, it is illegal to eat while driving in most parts of Australia 🇦🇺
Everytime I go to hit the subscribe button after watching your great content I keep realizing I'm already subscribed :(
Deus hat! Did you go and see them? Did I miss an episode?
Looks fun......but you are missing brexit !
What brexit? It aint gonna happen
JarnoM ofc it’s Gonna happen!
Boring
Pedro Henrique sounds like you understand to me mate! That’s what we think 👍🏻
@Pedro Henrique Fucking everything up like freedom to travel, move, study abroad, buy and use products and services from all over etc.
Can we see what’s in the ski box in top?
are you heading to the usa that would be sick
What a great guy!
What is the color of your car because I do not see it as a choice on the Porsche website (U.S.A.)?
Isn't that a 924 Carrera GT? it's like the 2004 996 Carrera Gt etc (i believe it was the name used for the Track option before Gt3 and the likes), with the 2004 super car i suspect it's not a spec derivative of a Porsche model.
Wow. As much as that was one of my favorite cars, I had no idea.
When will you be here in Melbourne??
I hope you are gonna do a video with Mightycarmods ! Would be so cool

It might have been more towards 1pm-2pm I was in the White turbo Forester anyhow.
great vid but i wish you went into more detail with some of the cars.
Just had a thought.... You should have the flag of each country you visit added to the car as you progress.
What’s the difference between this Carrera GT and the 928 GTS ?
Its a shame you weren't here for Summernats, that would have been something else 😂
997 gen 1 gt3 is gorgeous. They,l fly up in value next 4-5 years. Manual metzger engine perfect.
YOU MADE A VID ON MY FAV CAR YASS
Bet you're glad you got a pdk 'box :o
