Looks like I upset a few people with sections that I thought would be amusing. So apologies to anyone who was really upset by the phrase "If you've turned off annotations thinking you were being clever you'll need to manually jump forward like a fool" - Some people have got in touch to say that they don't get annotations on their devices (tablets etc) - I should have thought of this and as a result of this omission these people (but only the ones that wanted to skip forward) have now been called fools and are very angry about being insulted in such a strong (Mr T-esq) manner. I suppose the same goes for anyone watching on a smartwatch, but then again the text would probably be too small for them to read. Some people seemed not to like me pre-empting their questions at the end of the video, so in future videos I won't do this segment and I'll let these questions get asked in the comments instead, but I can't promise to answer them as I don't get to read the comments every day. Others thought my fake angry man bit in the Q&A segment just wasn't cricket. I was trying to channel a bit of Basil Fawlty hitting his car with a tree branch. Just like John Cleese was acting and wasn't really angry and the car was probably working fine - I was sat in a room editing video and talking into a microphone. Really getting angry rarely involves sitting and talking at a controlled volume and operating the editing controls on a laptop - but since the humour didn't travel, I'll try to avoid making any similar 'humorous' segments in future videos. From now on I'll try to stick to cold facts and moderated sensible talking. A bit like an Open University broadcast on BBC2 at 11pm on a Thursday in 1983.
Techmoan At the end of the day these are your videos and you are entitled to try new things, personally I saw nothing wrong for something which very clearly takes you a lot of time to research and produce.
Two things: 1) The most likely question this video will generate will be along the lines of "This or the SJ4000?" - My personal preference is for this camera. To me it seems better constructed and I like the way it handles exposure. However I do still prefer the menu system on the SJCAM range rather than this icon based stuff. 2) Yes the nighttime footage is grainier than I thought it was when editing it - that's due to me watching the footage in a small editing window window on a 15" screen. If good nighttime performance is a major issue to you, you may want to look at other cams in my action cam playlist. 3) This or the Xiaomi Yi - an odd question as they are very different cameras. If you can't decide between them, just ask yourself the following questions 1) Do you want an LCD screen to use as a viewfinder and to change settings 2) Do you want a selection of mounts and a waterproof case included inside the box 3) Do you think WiFi is better than both of the things above My personal preference would be for the P2.
tr4nscend This or the Mobius... Same questions again 1) Do you want an LCD screen to use as a viewfinder and to change settings 2) Do you want a selection of mounts and a waterproof case included inside the box 3) Do you think a very small camera is more important than both of the things above If you want a small light flat camera get a Mobius.
Techmoan The SJ4000 is quite good at low light, it beats the Gopro Hero 3+ Black Ed. even. If anyone's interested there is some clips filmed with the SJ4000 on my channel called "A-traktor drift" and "En Vinterkväll I Hyllinge" (just to be clear, not promoting my channel, simply trying to share my experience with the SJ4000) and even though there is street lights it was during winter at like 10.30PM so keep that in mind. When comparing the Hero 3+ Black Ed. and AEE SD21, the SJ4000 is superior. The Gopro tends to show some grain even on fully lit road, and the SD21 is just a nightmare at night (no pun intended) while the SJ4000 shows little to no grain. (most of the time there is none to be honest.)
Wow, you really got me with this one, 5 minutes into the video, I just started wishing you will say it is good, since it seemed perfect. I paused the video, checked the price, got even more excited, checked the raw footage, I was on my toes for the rest of the video and went searching for best deals right after and just bought one. What I want to say is ,thanks for your amazing reviews!
Well after 4 years when I saw this clip and bought the camera on this review, it has finally died, wont turn on, goes on, solid red light then turns off. I have used this on all horsing riding events and hacks out in all weathers. Will say I use the open type frame not the waterproof case it came with (better sound quality with out it) and has been soaked to many times to count, when caught in rain showers but after a drying off it works as it should! Battery was the main problem for me as 40 min is not long enough and unable to get these so for 3 years i used a battery pack/bank and used the camera like a dash cam. Well done Techmoan.....come on more reviews on hat cameras as the tec has moved on a lot now.
I've reviewed this camera also, and think it's a good quality budget camera, especially for the low cost. It actually performs impressively well! One of the better budget cameras out there!
After watching this review and the comparison with the P3, I decided on the P2 and just ordered one. Thank you for your informative and in-depth reviews, not to mention the downloadable clips. It really made this an easy decision.
I had a look at the difference in video quality as mentioned in the video. I also downloaded some sample clips from Techmoan's website as mentioned in the video description. Regarding video quality, the P2 was clearly better. Also, I don't need the fiddly WiFi, so the P2 was the better option for me. I am loving this little camera. It does a stellar job. Thanks again to Techmoan for the in-depth review and the sample clips. It made it an easy decision to get the P2.
Thank you so much Techmoan.I am Cathy from Dazzne support.can we have chance to invite you to review our Dazzne P3 camera? 2" screen, wifi and 60p.really looking forward to hearing from you.
Dear Techmoan, I bought the Dazzne P2 last summer, really great value for your money - I loved it. I used it on the motorbike and beach. Unfortunately when I took it to the sea side this year in September the water resistant case was suddenly filled with some water and of course the Dazzne didn't survive. I'm a bit of a fan of these low cost Chinese gimmicks, but at the end of the day it locks like they are not worse it....It at least should last for more than two years. So everytime check the case before you put the camera into water ! As far as I could identify, the buttons are leacking, salty water seems to be to corrosive...
Techmoan Brilliant review of the Dazzne P2 as always with all your well structured, logically put together and crisp reviews. Its a tough choice between M10 & DP2...but I guess I will go with DP2...the twin batteries and a charger (twin) and other accessories is tempting. The DashCam setting issue is a bit of a dampener...but one can work around that. Möbius has great video quality....only if it had a waterproof/weatherproof case. Anyways thanks and look forward to seeing more reviews. By any chance do you do Headlamps & GPS Outdoors Adventure Smartwatch reviews. Wanna buy the Garmin Fenix 3. Cheers
Very impressive - especially for under a hundred bucks with two batteries and all the other included accessories. Neat feature that captures stills while videoing - I've wanted that although I see how it might be hit and miss (depending on the situation) that you will get a properly framed composition to choose from at one every ten seconds.
I was wondering if you knew of any other cameras similar to this. I know this is the budget one you listed on your website. But since this is about a year old, I was wondering if anything better may have been released. I want to buy two for my bike night time commuting. This one has some features I really like: - One click boot into video mode - Automatically recycling storage space by deleting old video - Decent image quality, esp at night I think some of the newer ones can get 90mins battery, opposed to 60mins here. Anything else like this?
On the grounds of this review, I've just bought this action cam. Haven't yet tried it out though. Hopefully the results are just as good as shown in this clip.
Great review, as always. Indeed, I was about to get one of these on the strength of the review but will wait a bit longer as I see they have announced the Dazzne 3 (with wireless)
What is the correct flash sequence when the battery is charging properly ? The manual is next to useless. Also how long should it take to charge a battery from flat ? Thanks.
Techmoan You've been doing great job reviewing dash cams and action cams. I'm looking for a body camera, that can be on my body when needed and record everything I see, without being held in the hands and with minimal intervention. Something to the extent of the PatrolEyes Body Camera, but at a fraction of the cost. Do you know of anything like that?
Hi, very nice review. I have two quick questions that I would like to ask. (1) Is it possible to charge the cam while it is in it's casing? (2) Does it also gives the photo's taken at automatic interval seperatly as jpg's or does put them after each other in movie format? Thank you very much!
as always a great review my friend, i purchase this camera 1 month ago having a gopro 4 aswell i enjoyed the Dazzne very much but i can't use it for fpv. i used it for scuba and i'm loving the color burst underwater without filters i give this cam 5 stars myself. thank you for your review.
Another great review! I normally lurk, enjoying all your reviews quietly but I thought I'd chime in on this one about the FOV thing: If the sensor on this were a 1080p sensor I'd say you're right in that the narrower FOV options are just cropped and interpolated "zoomed in" versions. However, don't most of these cameras use a 5MP CMOS sensor? If so, its native resolution is probably something like 2592x1944 (grabbed from a random 5MP CMOS sensor data sheet). If so, then the widest FOV is going to be a scaled down version of the full sensor image. 1980 / 2592 = 76%, so -- assuming the narrower FOV is around 76% of the full wide FOV, it could be using a 1:1 pixel image -- no interpolation.
Nice review as always. Was about to buy one a few weeks back after seeing your review, then i saw the soon to be released P3 which looks good and does 60fps @ 1080p. I'll wait till i see some reviews of that cam.
Do you know if the original go pro waterproof case would fit this if... that would allow me to go diving over 20m deep and get footage without worrying about the case leaking as go pro is good for 60m. (i totaled a mobius with joovuu case last summer)
I would have to agree with you on the quality of this over the sj4000 however with drones you want some sort of wifi stream capabilities. Any camera you would recommend in that case?
If you have the image flipped and with date stamp, the date is at the top and inverted. At least it is on my P2 which is the WIFI version. The app shows a wide angle view regardless of the view setting on the camera. Worth knowing if you're trying to get everything in view and find it cropped on playback!
Great review as Always sir. Do you prefer the Xiaomi Yi Action Camera or this one? I know the Xiaomi doesn't have a LCD, but based on the video quality...
Dagobertrules1 They are very different cameras - If you can't decide between them, just ask yourself the following questions 1) Do you want an LCD screen to use as a viewfinder and to change settings 2) Do you want a selection of mounts and a waterproof case included inside the box 3) Do you think WiFi is better than both of the things above 4) Do you need 1080p60 or are you happy with 1080p30 My personal preference would be for the P2. For 1080p30 video comparison, download some of my samples to see which you prefer.
Quick question ( and NO it's not if it has WiFi LOL). You mentioned that you'd found an alternative mounting case on ebay that allowed you to power it as a dashcam. Do you have a link to that item as I cannot seem to find anything like that for the P2.
Hallo Techmoan! About 2 months ago I bought Dazzne P2 & start to make videos with it as a dashcam(which is great) but when I put it on the frame of my bicycle when ride rough terrain strange knocking in video sound appered like something inside camera is loose.Sounds to me like malfunction.Anyway thank you for doing great job.
Awesome and thorough review once again, really nicely put together. Since a few years I've come to appreciate vintage stuff a lot more, and I've always wanted to recreate old photo's with old photocamera's from the same time they were taken. Let's say there's this photo of the village I'm living in, I go and find out who took the photo and what camera he had. I get one of those camera's and take the same picture on the same spot and try to get everything to line up perfectly. Only difference being the setting has changed, new buildings and what not. Do you have any interest in perhaps doing such a project? I'm pretty sure there's a lot of people who would enjoy that, most if not all of those people being photographers or enthousiasts. It's on my to-do list still, and since you have interests which allign quite often perhaps this'll spark some interesting ideas for future content. Although you should take a break for a while, you've been pumping out videos quite a lot lately :) Cheers Mat, have a good one!
Great review as always. May I recomend for a similar price the Sony AS15, the ION Air Pro 2, or the Contour Roam 2 Hd? Proven products made by known brands that can offer a decent waranty for more or less the same money. After buying a "budget" dashcam, I prefer to avoid experiences with unknown brands that look great on paper.
Techmoan Based on your review, i decided to buy this AC. I can say i am not dissapointed. I drove about a 150km's at night (Motorcycle) and i don't suffer frame rate loss like some other cameras will suffer from. One thing though, the sound in or from the case. I have the AC mounted on my helmet and as soon as i drive around 5km/h or faster i get the drag/wind blast sound that overrules all the other sound that is being recorded (engine/exhaust and what not) I saw you tried to use a mic on the HDMI "output" on the cam but that didn't work. Did you also try it with the recent firmware update? Anyway, i just wanted to tell you i really appreciate and like your video and keep up the good work. Cheers
I dont know what to think about this camera, is it a ripoff or different brand,, like is this supposed to be like the sj cams where its obviously a different camera, or is this a go pro ripoff? i dont know i just want one (i have an sj5000)
Techmoan As always... good review. Something I really like to know is: Did you also test the 360 Degree Rotatable Curved Mounts? I like to now how good and strong they are. Is the rotating locking mechanism any good (strong enough) to support a GoPro with large battery on the side of a motor helmet?
Techmoan As always another very awesome review. I greatly appreciate your insight with all the products you review especially action cams. Although it seems you are a little bit grumpy today, probably because of all the hard work you do for your videos. Just want you to know your videos are highly informative and highly appreciated. Please keep up the good work. Thank You.
Hi, I wondered which cable to use with this camera to connect an external microphone. So I asked Dazzne and here is their answer: Thanks for getting your e-mail.I am Cathy glad to assist you. Our Dazzne P2 camera is only support external microphone with Definition Interface cable. We are not produce it.if you can get this cable, them it can work good. Does anyone knows this kind of cable?
If Tomorrows World was still running you would be a great presenter.....Always like your vids very interesting, factual and a hint of comedy.... always watch them all the way through..... Thanks for your efforts...
Another great review. A quick question though... from the look of the seam around the lens as well as perhaps an "up" registration marker on the lens it looks like the lens may be replaceable for one that has a smaller zoom. Does it have any give to it or are replacements mentioned in the manual?
I bought one a few weeks ago to use primarily as a dash cam but also to use occasionally for other "action cam" stuff. The one I received had very poor video quality. Bright light or low light, the videos were very grainy. Nothing like the quality of the videos you posted. Also, the audio quality was terrible. Sounded like a pillow was over the mic. I figured it was defective and returned it. I just received a Polaroid Cube that I'll be trying out next.
Techmoan I'm going to SE Asia for Xmas, and with the delivery times to the UK... Buy the P2 now.. Or wait for your P3 review.., What would you recommend I do?
Techmoan Ok you sold me, take my money! (Just kidding..) I didn't know about the stabilisation, even on the company website it mentions nothing about it.. But googling 'ambarella A7LS' does show it has Electronic Image Stabilisation.. Interesting! Thanks for the reply!
I know you mentioned that 720p/60 was not great due to the aliasing, but what about 720p/30? In other words, is the problem due to the resolution or the frame rate?
Techmoan Understandable, yet some people might want to extend the amount of footage they can fit on an SD card or might want to archive the video and 1080p video takes up an awful lot more space.
You just disregarded the camera raw option! If that actually works, it is incredible to have in such a low-cost HD camera. Camera raw is a vast improvement over compressed video, especially with fast-moving imagery. In-camera compression is turned off and you can take advantage of more advanced compression techniques in your editing computer to make professional-looking shots.
Hi there. Do you have a preference over this or the Git2, or is there a more recent budget cam that is preferred over the two? I'm looking for good if not great quality, remote control function wifi, GoPro style mount, gyro stabilisation. Thanks Techmoan
Thank you for another top notch review. Of the action cams that utilize a stereo mic input, have you utilized an external stereo mic to see how a much better stereo separation of the audio track adds to the playback enjoyment ? I purchased several of the earlier Sony models hoping to utilize their stereo mic input just to find their design makes it almost impossible to utilize it. I wish I would have paid better attention to your review as you pointed this out. My intent is to mount 2 mics, one on each side of my motorcycle. Have you come across a camera that has an actual usable stereo mic input that produces decent video quality ??? Again, thanks for your efforts in producing these reviews. When ever the subject of action cameras come up on the motorcycle forums I visit often, I always direct people to see your videos.
Craig VanMeter perhaps the Sony HDR-MV1 might be more suitable for your needs, however if you are looking for an action cam then the Drift Ghost S is the only camera I can recall testing recently with a mic-in.
How well does it record in RAW? That's a fantastic opportunity for video editing people, and what about the filesize in that mode? If that really is RAW video event I would consider one, and I really don't have much need. But nighttime would be infinitely better.
This is a fair point, my fastest SD card can only record RAW for about 10 seconds in my Canon 60D. But that's recording RAW data in 14 bit on a much bigger sensor. I have a feeling that tiny sensor may be able to record much more.
I find it kind of odd that, as far from where I have looked anyways, that your external mic didn't work, especially when it is one of the listed features of the camera. Makes me wonder if it is a software issue not recognizing there is a microphone. For the price it does do a nice job and gives some setting to play with.
***** There's no mention of it in the instructions or the specs, the only thing that made me try it is the bit of text printed on the camera body next to the socket. Perhaps it's just a piece of text copied from another camera.
Techmoan Looked to me like it might be for if it operates as a USB Webcam which some of the cameras sometimes do (Although why you'd want to use one as a webcam I don't know)
Hi Techmoan, I know you've mentioned a couple of times that the P2 can be used as a dashcam, but does it have an auto power on/off function, for whenever the car starts/stops ? I didn't see a setting for that.
Techmoan As the mount system doesn't fit in the GoPro, can you tell me if the bolt área has the same size with the GoPro mounts to use the case of this with the mounts of GoPros?
So i know you recommended the Dazzne P2 when i asked for a drone type action camera yet the Dazzne P2 does not come with any wifi streaming capabilities so that i can view what is coming from the front of the camera. Any cameras that you have looked at that would be ideal for that?
Will Ruffin I'd recommend looking at the aerial photography section of the RCGroups forums as wifi on these cameras often has too much lag and travels over too short a distance to be of any use for live monitoring an aircraft.
I have a question do you know any accessories I can add like a camera stand, I want to buy some stuff for it but dazzne.com is really weird I see on Amazon that they sell accessories but I'm trying to figure out if go pro accessories like the chest strap and camera stick will work
Matt, have you thought about collaboration with another you tube channel that dose teardowns on your consumer products? I mean we can see the problems of why something isn't so good from your info but.. Another channel collaborating with you can say what is the problem.

Techmoan Well, let it be the last time then!
Techmoan so you're saying that Fawlty Towers wasn't a documentary? you've ruined my life!
Techmoan I think I would pay to watch you go all Basil Fawlty on the complainers.
Techmoan At the end of the day these are your videos and you are entitled to try new things, personally I saw nothing wrong for something which very clearly takes you a lot of time to research and produce.

Stupid question, but do you wear glasses in a motorcycle helmet? Or do you take it off? And if you do have to take it off, how do you see?
***** I always wear glasses. Mostly prescription sunglasses. Some helmet/glasses combos are painful just have to find what fits you.
Hey techmoan, thanks for these videos! Really enjoy watching them and I kinda get excited when I see a new one uploaded.
Another fine video review Mat! As always, thanks for uploading.
hi,
according to manufacturers website there is also a version of p2 which does have a feature such as wifi
Another awesome thorough review. Well done! I'm very impressed.
Do you know of anything like that?
what about its Bluetooth connectivity to any mobile devices and the app needed for this to work? or is there any?
I normally lurk, enjoying all your reviews quietly but I thought I'd chime in on this one about the FOV thing:
If the sensor on this were a 1080p sensor I'd say you're right in that the narrower FOV options are just cropped and interpolated "zoomed in" versions.
Can you DO A REVIEW ON Blackview HERO 2 PLEASE! 2.7k 30fps 1080p 60fps F2.0 aperture with wifi and remote for like 110$
Hi there, is this still your favorite budget action camera (out of the ones you've reviewed)? Thanks!
wow..these reviews are dynamite! thank you so much. i've given up on my shimano cm-1000 and i'm now looking at the sj or the daz. thanks again!
Do you know if the original go pro waterproof case would fit this if... that would allow me to go diving over 20m deep and get footage without worrying about the case leaking as go pro is good for 60m. (i totaled a mobius with joovuu case last summer)
Hey! Does it matter where the shipping comes from, on ebay, if it still says is the Dazzne P2?
Dagobertrules1
They are very different cameras - If you can't decide between them, just ask yourself the following questions
1) Do you want an LCD screen to use as a viewfinder and to change settings
2) Do you want a selection of mounts and a waterproof case included inside the box
3) Do you think WiFi is better than both of the things above
4) Do you need 1080p60 or are you happy with 1080p30
My personal preference would be for the P2.
For 1080p30 video comparison, download some of my samples to see which you prefer.
someone might have asked this already but do you like the Xiaomi Yi or the P2 better. (Thinking on the quality side of the products).
The camera does seem to apply aggressive sharpening to its video, but the photos look fine. is this perhaps the effect of the "quality" option ?
custardo Possibly, but overall I'm happy with the video quality.
Techmoan This really is pretty good, esp. considering the price. Unfortunately, doomed as we are, we still want more, and better ;)
+Techmoan
would You rather have Dazzne P2 or Soocoo s33ws?
unless there is a decent 1080p60 capable action cam for about £45-50...?
Does it have wifi? Op pls respond. ;)
Cracking good review as usual, nothing wrong with Northern wryness!
How does it compare to the gopro hero?
Although you should take a break for a while, you've been pumping out videos quite a lot lately :)
Cheers Mat, have a good one!
Could you do a review of an outdoor waterproof PTZ IP Camera please.
Thanks Martyn
Techmoan Based on your review, i decided to buy this AC.
I can say i am not dissapointed. I drove about a 150km's at night (Motorcycle) and i don't suffer frame rate loss like some other cameras will suffer from. One thing though, the sound in or from the case. I have the AC mounted on my helmet and as soon as i drive around 5km/h or faster i get the drag/wind blast sound that overrules all the other sound that is being recorded (engine/exhaust and what not)
I saw you tried to use a mic on the HDMI "output" on the cam but that didn't work. Did you also try it with the recent firmware update?
Anyway, i just wanted to tell you i really appreciate and like your video and keep up the good work. Cheers
I dont know what to think about this camera, is it a ripoff or different brand,, like is this supposed to be like the sj cams where its obviously a different camera, or is this a go pro ripoff? i dont know i just want one (i have an sj5000)
in whats way(s) is this camera better or worse than the sj4000
Great review.
Which video editing package do you use?
Was hoping we'd have moved up to a decent 1080 60fps or even higher by now. :S
Hi techmoan just wondering why it says usb mic and u cant put a external mic on the p2 is there?
Is that a standard battery type (in order to get more spares), if so what model number or type?
With all the included mounts there is no way to simply bolt it to tripod?
Near the beginning of the video, the box showed 3MP CMOS sensor. Does the camera give you 12MP stills?
As always, thanks for answering!
operative they output as 12MP but are almost certain to be upscaled.
Techmoan yes that's what I suspected. Thanks!
Peter Mulder I didn't use them, but they do seem to be good quality. However I can't guarantee anything without testing them.
Thank You.
hellraizer44 I was attempting to be humorous - but it looks like it didn't work.
Hi, I wondered which cable to use with this camera to connect an external microphone.
So I asked Dazzne and here is their answer:
Thanks for getting your e-mail.I am Cathy glad to assist you.
Our Dazzne P2 camera is only support external microphone with Definition Interface cable.
We are not produce it.if you can get this cable, them it can work good.
Does anyone knows this kind of cable?
Can these be mounted on a bicycle ?
If Tomorrows World was still running you would be a great presenter.....Always like your vids very interesting, factual and a hint of comedy.... always watch them all the way through..... Thanks for your efforts...
Another great review. A quick question though... from the look of the seam around the lens as well as perhaps an "up" registration marker on the lens it looks like the lens may be replaceable for one that has a smaller zoom. Does it have any give to it or are replacements mentioned in the manual?
Brendan Orr Well I know the lens unit is fixed in place (doesn't rotate) whether it can be replaced is something I don't know.
Is it real 60fps or 2 of every frame?
I bought one a few weeks ago to use primarily as a dash cam but also to use occasionally for other "action cam" stuff. The one I received had very poor video quality. Bright light or low light, the videos were very grainy. Nothing like the quality of the videos you posted. Also, the audio quality was terrible. Sounded like a pillow was over the mic. I figured it was defective and returned it.
I just received a Polaroid Cube that I'll be trying out next.
When we expect to see your review for the new Dazzne P3 WiFi 1080P?
Nikolay Kamburov a few weeks after it arrives from China.
Techmoan I'm going to SE Asia for Xmas, and with the delivery times to the UK... Buy the P2 now.. Or wait for your P3 review.., What would you recommend I do?
+toString The P3 will be the P2 with WiFi, 1080p60 and image stabilisation - I can't see how it could be worse than the P2.
Techmoan Ok you sold me, take my money! (Just kidding..) I didn't know about the stabilisation, even on the company website it mentions nothing about it.. But googling 'ambarella A7LS' does show it has Electronic Image Stabilisation.. Interesting! Thanks for the reply!
please can you review the sj4000+ and the blackview hero 2 cameras? 2.7k resolution both
can you plug an external mic into this
Bravo! A very concise review of this product.
Thank you.
SBF
I know you mentioned that 720p/60 was not great due to the aliasing, but what about 720p/30? In other words, is the problem due to the resolution or the frame rate?
TheSushiFiend I never tried 720p30 - whenever I have the option to use 720p30 or 1080p30 I'll go for the higher quality.
Techmoan Understandable, yet some people might want to extend the amount of footage they can fit on an SD card or might want to archive the video and 1080p video takes up an awful lot more space.
The camera pan device built into the mount clip is Great -
Does it work well ?
As always Great Video and Thanks for making it -
You should do a review on the Adventure Cam 8 by Ultra Pro X. Its a great little camera.
Can go pro tripod mounts work on this cam.
Yet again an awesome video..love your sense of humour☺Thanks.
The Dazzne P2 Wifi seems to have just been announced on Dazzne's facebook page (Sept 1st). Would you care to review it?
seems to be a well made camera - featured in a well made video ;)
Hi there. Do you have a preference over this or the Git2, or is there a more recent budget cam that is preferred over the two? I'm looking for good if not great quality, remote control function wifi, GoPro style mount, gyro stabilisation.
Thanks Techmoan
I prefer the git 2. The mic-in works on that one.
Brilliant review as usual,,very tempted to buy one thanks shane uk
Lee Butterworth Raw as in uncompressed video? Is there really any point on a device with an SD card which probably could not keep up?
Techmoan Looked to me like it might be for if it operates as a USB Webcam which some of the cameras sometimes do (Although why you'd want to use one as a webcam I don't know)
This seems a really nice camera
Hi Techmoan, I know you've mentioned a couple of times that the P2 can be used as a dashcam, but does it have an auto power on/off function, for whenever the car starts/stops ? I didn't see a setting for that.
+gandreougr yes it can auto stop/start (that combined with looping video are the two things that define a dashcam).
+Techmoan Thanks! I guess it is combined with the "Boot Record" setting, or it's its default behaviour to turn on when powered by usb.
Techmoan As the mount system doesn't fit in the GoPro, can you tell me if the bolt área has the same size with the GoPro mounts to use the case of this with the mounts of GoPros?
Tanato Cartaxo The hinge is the same - when I mounted it in my car I used a gopro tripod mount.
Thanks for the in depth review.
what's the soocoo s60 like because i'm thinking of getting one.
I have a question do you know any accessories I can add like a camera stand, I want to buy some stuff for it but dazzne.com is really weird I see on Amazon that they sell accessories but I'm trying to figure out if go pro accessories like the chest strap and camera stick will work
superb review absolute class
Matt, have you thought about collaboration with another you tube channel that dose teardowns on your consumer products?
I mean we can see the problems of why something isn't so good from your info but.. Another channel collaborating with you can say what is the problem.
